Sigh... Where do I even begin? I joined BMS in December 2019 after they acquired the account for the bank I was outsourced to as per Section 197. From the onset I could tell that my decision to stay under the employment of BMS would not end well. From HR team capturing my employee details incorrectly and botching up my medical aid application, they were unbothered and when I advised them of their error, I was threatened with disciplinary action. Imagine that. BMS claim that they pride themselves on a "healthy" work environment and Altron values but their HR and Management teams conduct proves this to be smoke and mirrors. Granted I also had my transgressions but I always gave 110% for the company. Having the most calls resolved on Campus consistently for 5 years and never having breached an SLA, Management felt that they could talk to us in any manner that they pleased. Another instance of this toxic work culture was when I would advise team leader that I would be off sick or late for work, team leader would share MY personal issues with the rest of the team, and not only that, when I was off sick and advised management I was told to my face that I was "talking k*k". This, remember stemming from the botched medical aid I mentioned earlier, and I always had to have cash to go to the doctor, yet BMS kept deducting this non-existent medical aid fund. From there onwards my love for the bank we were outsourced to died, my productivity followed, and subsequently deserted my post. I was never ever given any assurance from HR team that they were there to support the employee but instead showed that they are only there to protect their company. I could honestly write a thesis about how ********** my experience working for this company was. Day in and day out I exceeded expectations and even superceded my daily targets received over 99.8% client satisfaction rate. This company honestly does not give a hoot about the well-being of the staff that they employee. This is now 2 years later that I've mustered the courage to share this experience not to tarnish the company but to let any potential job seeker to look elsewhere, for their own well being. BMS is a cash *** that only obsesses with how much money you make for them. They are not a People First company like their head of HR promised during orientation. How I wish I could take back the 5 years I wasted bending over backwards without even as much as a "thank you".

As an employee who resigned on 01/02/2022 and served my notice which was finalised on 28/02/2022, I have still not received my final salary till this date 14/03/2022 On communication to HR on multiple occasions I had now received communication that my salary would be release 11/03/2022 which has not been release yet. I did a follow up this morning and was instructed my salary will be released 25/03/2022 I can certainly assure you that altron will not be paying for any of the interest fees being charge to me for overdue debit orders, I can certainly assure you that altron will not be feeding myself and my Daughter for all the days my salary has been withheld. I have not been given a solid response on why my salary has not been release even though my part of my off boarding was completed on the designated dates.

I would like to report my former manager (Johan Haasbroek) for not really caring about his employees.I recently resigned from my previous company and served my last day on the 13th October 2015.Today is the 23rd of October and I still haven't been updated as to when exactly I should expect my final salary.I have sent emails to my former manager and it seems he is reluctant to ensure that my salary is paid to me in due time to pay my rent as well as buy food for my 2month old son. This morning, after sending a heated mail to his manager,he responded by saying that I never sent him a mail when I clearly did.I am a very disappointed ex-employee,as I was under the impression that serving my 30days notice period, would prevent such issues from arising.HR's Nomfundo Khumalo, went to the extent of telling me that I will only receive my salary on the 30th October, because payouts only occur on Fridays and I was late in submission.I would like to know why or how is it that salaries can be paid on any other day of the week when payday is not on a Friday.I would like for Bytes to review their processes (If it is a Bytes process)),and ensure that future employees are protected from such instances.

It was the 3rd time that I had gone in person to Block D at the Bytes HQ, to try and get their sales people to talk to me about an outsourced call centre solution that my company requires urgently. The previous 2 times they had refused to see me (even at Reception), or speak to me over the phone. I was told \they can't be bothered""; but my experience was worse this time. The person who'd received my business card 3 weeks ago was still not available and their phone and mobile was on voicemail. The Receptionist didn't like the idea of me speaking to the Sales Manager; and she rather attempted to get another lady in the sales dept to speak to me. They spoke seSotho; and while they spoke; I could tell that the Receptionist was begging this lady to atleast speak to me on the phone. The lady completely refused;and at some point I could tell she asked if I am white. She said NO upon finding out that I am black.

{FYI - All I wanted was a quote for a business case I am preparing for my directors}.

I took the greatest offense and left. """
