I recently purchased a custom-made braai from Calore based in Paarl but unfortunately, I made an small error in the length measurement. I reached out to to the company Regional Sales Manager in Cape Town to inquire whether the braai could be adjusted, even slightly. I was informed that this is not possible. Ive also send another email to the Capetown Regional Sales Manager regarding furher information required to esculate this matter to a higher level bur never received any feedback. However, after doing further research and speaking to several other reputable suppliers, I’ve learned that such an adjustment is indeed a straightforward modification. As a paying customer, I believe it is reasonable to expect some level of support or at least a practical solution — particularly when other professionals in the same industry say it can be done with ease. I feel that the company is not acting in the best interest of its customers.

They are the distributor for Z grills, bought a 700d4e pellet grill. From new high temperatures problems. The service department from Fourways came within 1 day and replaced the control unit. Same problems persisted. It was suggested I use the grill by gradually rising the temperature. I feel the grill should work as advertised. No problem with Calore fireplaces only the product they endors.

If good customer service is important to you, DONT interact with Calore. The lack of service is shocking, they in no way care whether they retain their customers. They are extremely rude, fail to take ownership and blame each other for lack of service delivery. This is definitely by far the worst company I’ve had to deal with. Do yourself a favour and purchase your fireplace elsewhere, with Calore you are only guaranteed continued headaches and nothing else.

Initially the team at Calore were very helpful to get quotes sorted out. However, once payment was made, we encounted many problems. Most distressing is the smoke which floods our house from the indoor braai. We asked them to install an extractor fan, they said ok, and then walked it back and have no told us this is not possible. Major oversell on their parts

I highly recommend Calore. They are extremely professional from start to finish. Each and every member of the company goes the extra mile to ensure satisfactory service. Calore has a wide range of an excellent products that suits everyone's needs. I am very happy with the service and the fireplace they installed! 10/10 would recommend!

Calore Fire place - never works waste of money Spent 37k on a Calore small wood pellet fire place. IT DOESNT WORK. Bought it last year at the end of winter from a calore installer in Klerskdorp: Gasman - they couldn’t complete the installation due to shortage of spares due to lockdowns - therefore it gave error messages when it got too hot. Was understandable. However, they completed the installation in Summer. It’s still giving the same error messages as last year and it never works. You have got to reset the device non stop and it still works for a while before it gives error messages. THIS WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. To anyone considering these machines, my advise would be to rather go traditional for proper wood and coal fire places.

Bad Service and Bad Attitude. Shawn takes no responsibility for the people they use to do the installations. They are unreliable and have no empathy towards their clients as stated in his own words. Not a company i would recommend.
