Cemlink - Use at your own peril
De Wet at Cemlink will promise you the moon, earth and stars during the sales process, unfortunately the promises are not kept. As one expects with a building project timelines always run over but ours ran almost a month past when it was supposed to be done. De Wet was hardly ever on site and if you are a woman please do not expect any kind of response from him. My mother and I both battled to get feedback from him, however, should my father or husband try then he would respond. Our roof leaked in 2 places and our toilet also leaked. When trying to get De Wet to come back to look at this it took a fight to get him back. Once his workers returned and worked on our flat the repairs were still not done properly and no effort has since been made to return to complete these issues. Again De Wet was not on site to ensure this had been done properly. My husband eventually did the repairs himself. The insolation on the flat is so weak that one freezes in winter and boils in summer, I have floor boards on the porch that are cracked and breaking, nails that are exposed all over the place and various other small things need to be tweaked. The last communication I had with De Wet was in December when they were closing for the festive period and he was going to attend to us first thing in the new year. We are now in February and there has been zero communication from him to come see and us to resolve our issues. De Wet is a great salesman, but there is absolutely no after sales support or care. Once your money is gone, so is he.

I highly recommend Cemlink Construction! They delivered a top-quality Nutec project, were incredibly professional, and went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. Their team was always punctual, communicative, and skilled, and I couldn't be happier with the final result. Cemlink Construction was always easy to reach and responsive to my questions and requests. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The workmanship was outstanding, and the attention to detail was remarkable. Brilliant in every way!
If I could give 6 stars to this company, I would. The workmanship and professionalism shown by Cemlink Construction was beyond anything that I have experienced from a construction company previously. The offices they built for me are truly beautiful. I would HIGHLY recommend them. De Wet, the owner is an absolute gentleman, and everything he promised me, he delivered.

Brilliant in every way!
If I could give 6 stars to this company, I would. The workmanship and professionalism shown by Cemlink Construction was beyond anything that I have experienced from a construction company previously. The offices they built for me are truly beautiful. I would HIGHLY recommend them. De Wet, the owner is an absolute gentleman, and everything he promised me, he delivered.

Substandard work
Cemlink Construction does substandard work. They have build 4 Nutec class rooms at my school. They installed windows and PVC floors for all 4 of the class rooms. Just after I paid them the last amount, the floors started showing bubbles. After investigation we found that the PVC was glued directly on the wooden beams and De Wet did not install a floor under the PVC to ensure a surface that the PVC floors would stick to properly and which would deliver a smooth surface so that there would be no bubbles. The quality of the PVC is very bad, it is also very thin. The glue was not app**** correctly. They tried to fix the bubbles with a staple gun. The floors look horrible and De Wet le Roux, the owner of Cemlink does not want to fix or replace the PVC blocks. It is also a safety hazard for our learners. He ignores our calls, WhatsApps and emails. Not even a Letter of Demand or lawyer's letter can get him to fix the floors or replace the window frames that we found out later that they were not SABS approved and not allumminium as stated on the quote and invoice. The same with the PVC blocks. He says the bubbles on the floors and the substandard window frames are not his fault and he will not fix it. I feel I should warn other people about this contractor that niw operates as Nutec Homes and Timber Structures South Africa as well. I have proof of the above statements. I am reporting them.also to the National Consumer Commission and NHBRC.

Do not use Cemlink Construction
Cemlink Construction, De Wet Le Roux. You did a job at our school and to sum up. You took all our money and left us with floors that make bubbles. It looks awful and we had to do our price giving on floors that really look ugly. Our window frames and the clips are wobbly and definetely not SABS approved or allumminium as on the invoice. Come and fix the floors and window frames or give us back our money. This is not the way to treat a school or even any customer. Please look at the facts mentioned, before you do business with Cemlink, especially if you are a school. They ignore your phone calls, make false promises and lots of lots of excuses. They ignore lawyers letters. They ignore the fact that I am reporting them to the National Consumer Regulatorband the South African Building Assosiation. De Wet le Roux does not care.

Cemlink Construction a eye opener
What an eye-opener in dealing with Cemlink Construction. What was promised quoted and delivered differs like day and night. The worst craftsmanship ever in all aspects of building a Nutec house. Payments were requested very promptly but then the construction team will wait up to three days for material. Now what was supposed to be a joy for our new home is now a heartache and a secondhand home due to all the repairs that were done. Stay clear of Cemlink Construction

Not Recommended at all, STAY AWAY!
Do not use, I repeat do not use these guys! Started our project on a very good note. But once the 1st and 2nd payments are done it all goes downhill. Teams are on site... but wait days on end for material, meaning time frames committed is never kept. The work that was done is substandard and we decided to stop the project even tho we were in Credit from payments made upfront. Now it's been weeks and the promised refund just does not come. Feedback from Owner, De Wet, again just broken promises and now we are just being ignored ...

Poor Service
I was interested in making use of Cemlink construction in erecting a unit. I was referred to De Wet Le Roux, I started communication with him early September finding out more on their services & product. I mostly received swift response at the beginning. I then went to visit a site where they were busy with a 1 bedroom unit, De Wet was then not available as he forgot about our appointment however he referred me to him workers on site. De wet then said they are busy with a 2 bedroom unit (the one I was interested in) in Pretoria North and we set up a meeting on site in Pretoria North De Wet confirmed the appointment on the 26th of October for the 4th of November. I then also confirmed the appointment on the day with De Wet. De Wet confirmed the he will send me the address @ 11H14, I then drove from Centurion to Pretoria North to meet with De Wet @ 14h30 as arranged. I tried to phone De Wet 5 times from 14h12 until 15h43. De Wet just did not take any of my call's declining 2 of them while being online on Whatsapp. This is very disappointing service given the fact that I told De Wet that I an taking leave from work to meet with him driving all the way from Centurion just to be ignored. I have waited until today the 8th of November hoping that I will receive a text of a call, yet nothing. I have experienced bad service before but this was the worst, wasting my time and money!!!!!!!!!
