What a professional panelbeater, the staff was so friendly and helpful. It was my first time in an accident and Yolanda took me through the whole process in terms of what was going to happen. Monica made sure to contact me whenever I requested and even returned calls when necessary. I also appreciated their sms system that constantly updated me on what step the vehicle is currently undergoing. They promised me my vehicle would be ready in a a month and it was certainly on that promised date.Upon fetching my vehicle Fanie explained in thorough detail what exactly was done on my vehicle, the paint colour of my vehicle is exactly the same you couldn’t even tell it was ever in accident! This is the kind of service we deserve in all institutions. Keep up the good work Chako!.

After poor workmanship this people cut my lights wiring the re connected it to my fog lights leaving the main wires cut and my headlight not working and open wiring from the relay side, which made a short while driving home burning my wires, luckily nothing caught on fire, made the repairs my self as i am a qualified technician and could not drive without lights and it was weekend send them the total what it cost me plus my labor R1100 for the repairs its been a month later still no payment from them and now they want a second qoute of a electrician to see what he would have charged before they pay my money back, this is ridiculous when my veichle was being repaired i paid what i had to did not ask for a second qoute even though their prices where sky high, so i never even over charged is it so hard to pay what you owe? Would not recommend anyone taking their veichle to this place worst service ever!

Chako Panelbeaters have outdone themselves, went to request for a quote for my damaged vehicle and had a few suggestions on what else I wanted to do on the vehicle they took their time and gave me their honest professional advice, which I was happy with. I then booked the car in, and it literally took 2 weeks to get everything done, they maintained constant communication with me through out any changes that they experienced. Andries Jnr was dealing with me, he was a gentleman throughout the process conducted himself professionally at all times. Loved their services and I would recommend anyone to do business with them.

I work in claims and decided that I will request to have my vehicle repaired at CPB based on client's feedback on repairs. I normally ask the assessors to change the PB to them when I can just so I don't have to deal with other PB *****ing up on repairs. I'm happy with my repairs and glad I asked them to change repairs to Chako.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the extensive delays and poor communication related to the repair of my Renault Kwid Claim number 300908394690560, which was brought in for repairs on the 15th of May 2024. Before bringing the vehicle in, I explicitly asked if all the necessary parts were available for the repairs. I was assured by Chako Panelbeaters that they had all the required parts, which influenced my decision to proceed. At that time, I was told that the repair would take until the 29th of May 2024. However, the completion date has been repeatedly pushed back. As of my last communication with Chako Panelbeaters on the 12th of June, I was informed that the completion date had been further delayed to the 15th of June and subsequently to the 19th of June. Despite the assurance that the vehicle was in the painting stage since the 29th of May, progress has been disappointingly slow. Moreover, I was recently informed that additional repairs are needed, incurring further costs, which were never previously discussed with me. I was also told that there has been a wait for more parts, a fact that was never communicated to me until now. This delay is not only frustrating but is also causing significant inconvenience and additional expenses. I had planned for only two weeks of repairs as initially communicated, but it has now been almost a month. The prolonged repair time is forcing me to spend more on transport, which was not anticipated. The lack of transparency and continual delays are causing significant inconvenience and frustration. I expect a clear, honest update on the status of the repairs, including a realistic and final completion date. Additionally, I request an explanation for the poor communication and the additional costs that were not previously disclosed. I trust that Santam Insurance and Chako Panelbeaters will address this matter urgently and provide the necessary resolutions to avoid further inconvenience. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
