Subject: Urgent Complaint: Faulty Vehicle and Lack of Support – Request for Immediate Refund and Towing Reimbur*****t Dear We Buy Cars The Dome I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the vehicle I purchased from your dealership on Saturday, [21 June 2025]. Just two days later, on Monday, the differential fell off the vehicle — a serious mechanical failure that clearly indicates the vehicle was sold in an unroadworthy or unsafe condition. I immediately contacted my sales agent, Lerato Sema, who assured me that the matter would be escalated. Since then, Amarah has been assigned to assist me, but the service I’ve received has been unacceptable. I’ve had to initiate all follow-ups myself, both via phone and email, and as of today, I have been kept on hold for over 10 minutes without any response or resolution. It has now been over a week, and I am still without a functioning vehicle, and without clarity on when or how this issue will be resolved. This is not only frustrating but also financially and personally disruptive. I am formally requesting the following by close of business today: 1. Reimbur*****t for the towing costs incurred as a result of the vehicle’s breakdown. 2. A clear written explanation of why the vehicle failed and what actions the dealership will take to ensure this does not happen to other customers. Please treat this matter as urgent. If I do not receive a satisfactory response by end of day, I will have no choice but to escalate this complaint to the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa (MIOSA) and consider pursuing legal action. Received a call from Vuyo Luke regarding a Device Tamper Alert. Vehicle was indeed in an accident and she helped with the towing and constant calls to check if I had reached the accident scene as I was not the driver at the time of the accident. Your calls kept me calm and the service provider delivered the vehicle at the specified centre on time. Thank you for holding my hand and ensuring I was safe as well❤️
You don’t even deserve this one star. Within 48hrs I lost two bikes while you recovered one and failed to recover the other one and search accordingly for it. Informed you to remove it from my account instead got emails saying I need to pay a cancellation fee! How do I pay for something you didn’t even search for 30min? My other bike is at the Aeroton pound and I was there couldn’t locate it and asked for your assistance and you failed to assist me. Spoke to my account manager Sumaya and she promised I am not liable for the cancellation fee on the bike that was not recovered and surprisingly now at 22:10 pm you debit 3x the normal amount. Clearly I am the sick person here and no one is taking me seriously!!! I want my bike recovered within 24hrs in that case seeing you got your money for 3yrs already and I lost an asset. I want the other bike that is at the pound as I couldn’t find it while I was walking in the rain with my son looking for it. Imagine the diesel I wasted driving from my house to the other side of the city! The time wasted and airtime calling Sumaya, the call centre and recovery agent. You’ve disappointed me honestly and I’ve defended this brand with my blood but you proved me that it is true whatever is being said about you. I will wait to collect both bikes from your offices or the pound doorstep before close of business Friday 21st of February 2025😡

I have been waiting for maintenance on 4 bikes and no one is calling me for the appointment. Just spoke with Nhlakanipho and he is not taking this matter with the urgency it needs. Should anything happen to the bikes I will hold Tracker accountable as I have been responding to your emails and I have requested Scott who’s my account manager to assist to no avail. I want someone to come out today and fix this issue please.

You don't even deserve this one. You send me an email regarding the bike not updating and I respond immediately after confirming with the driver if he is working or not. Today your technician calls me an hour before telling me he is assigned to come here today. I arrange with my driver and he gets here and tells me he is leaving in 5 minutes if the driver doesn't arrive. I had just told him my driver is busy with a delivery and will be here in 10min and he leaves me there. Please make sure you read your emails and cancel the contract. I informed you and Scoot Hisopp from Business that the other bike is giving faulty notifications and one vehicle needs to be removed from my account but none of you are interested in assisting. Rather cancel the contract at your own costs and not mine since you want me to beg you.

I bought 4 bikes from you and the two bikes carriers are cracked. When I informed them about the 1st issue I was informed it wasn't covered buy the issue is on the stand that shifts the carrier. I fixed the 1st one and experienced the same issue recently. Yesterday the one driver reported the box is cracked and sent a video from the inside. What should I do now as I paid for this and it's an issue now!
