This place is the worst moving company, if not COMPANY in general, to ever exist. The owner has no idea how to run a business. Responds very quickly when you ask to use their services, and DISAPPEARS when you pay your deposit. Multiple messages sent on whatsapp with no response. Called multiple times and told to call back on another day, but still doesnt have an answer. This is not the first time, was charged about 20k extra when moving across country because of their mistake. Was shouted at on the phone and told not to threaten him after saying that I will involve a lawyer to get our deposit back. Worst service ever. We are now stuck with nothing and moving in 3 days. DO NOT TAKE THIS RISK especially with someone who is not trained in human relations and can't keep his cool on the phone and starts shouting at my wife. Was told an hour before our call to call him in 20 minutes, called after 30 minutes (extra time given) and told he is sitting in traffic and started shouting at my wife asking if she knows how traffic works. I'm sure everyone will understand the blinding frustration that this brings.

CM Removals has moved me TWICE in the last few months, I'm a repeat customer for good reason. And I'll use them again in the future. The first time was an interprovincial move on a route most companies don't, or won't, do. Charles' attitude was always one of 'can do'. And he did. His team travelled huge distances, via mountain passes overnight to collect my worldly goods, and they arrived with smiles and a great attitude. My more recent move, yesterday, wasn't as far, but the same attitude; the careful, communicative team arrived timeously and the day was smooth sailing. :-). Great team, splendid management - a tight ship, reliable (especially these days when one hears so much about one's things being hijacked etc). CM is reliable. Trustworthy. A great company. Good service, good prices - i wholeheartedly recommend them.

The poorest service delivery I have ever received. DO NOT support this company unless you would like for your move to be as challenging as possible. The company refused to move any items that were not in boxes and stated that they would charge me an addition fee for such. When I initially received my quotation, I did not receive an inventory list that allowed for me to tick of the items that I have and thus received a quote based on a “rough estimate for a two bedroom apartment”. They refused to take items that had been placed in bags and stated that it need to be in boxes, however their site does not state anything of such nature. There was NO pre-move assessment done and the day prior to the move which is why I am extremely frustrated at the lack of effort made from the companies side to remedy the situation. Instead they said they will be charging us an additional fee if we want for the bags to be moved as well. I asked if I can place them in boxes since they seem to be hell bent on that and they said “no, it will be taking up our time.” Are we not being charged a service fee for the time taken to move? Further to this, the invoice we received states the cost but has no breakdown of what I am being charged for. My argument remained that - if you are charging me on a “rough estimate of a two bedroom”, and you’re not moving a bedroom worth of suitcases then why am I being charged an additional fee? The owner refused to provide any assistance on the matter and insisted that if we want for the rest of the items to me removed, we will have to pay a fee or we can take it up legally. Absolutely pathetic service considering the fact that 1. No pre-assessment was done 2. The invoice shows a fee but has no breakdown of what you’re paying for 3. The attitude and willingness of the owner to remedy the situation was disgusting. He refused to understand the customers perspective and lacked the ability to communicate/provide us with the necessary documents that gives the customer insight on what they’re being charged for and what the company is not willing to do. You’d have an easier move hiring your own truck and pay people to assist.

Simply the best. The team is very professional, got my furniture packed up in a professional and safe way. That gave me peace of mind. I'm really happy with their commitment , communication and the stuff are respectful. Thank you Tanaka and your team. Will definitely recommend you guys

I used CM Removals a few days ago when I moved to my newly purchased home. Charles contacted us and said their truck broke down a day before the move had to happen and thankfully Charles contracted a replacement truck from a third party mover, we were grateful. However the third party mover broke a light fitting at my previous which I am following up with him directly to replace, they also cracked one of my flat screen TV’s, lastly failed to move all of my goods. When I contacted Charles, I was disappointed with the fact that he lacked accountability, “as the TV was broken by the third party mover” we were told he is unable to assist with he’s liability cover. He has outright refused to go and collect the goods still at my previous residence stating that he wants my wife who confirmed the service with him to get onto a call with himself and the contracted truck owner to resolve the dispute. To add insult to serious injury, the amount of goods were under-estimated by CM Removals and I ended up having to pay the contracted mover an additional 6k to assist me and I still there are items that they have left behind, and based on The response from Charles I will have to have the items collected at my own expense, completely unacceptable. As a result of this serverely unpleasant experience I would not recommend Charles or he’s company to anyone unless you’re in the business of getting scammed.

Good Morning/Afternoon ((PLEASE READ)) I would not recommend CM Removals for anything. Be careful as you are not covered by insurance for almost everything. Not for your tv, computer, crates, artwork, guitars everything like that.. So it's a waste so they can break everything and nothing will be covered. The biggest thing of all We are so disappointed with the service after most of our stuff was covered in dust, and some of our stuff has been damaged or broken. First of all they blame us for taking a pass through the mountains that we didn't know about as its out first time here, we took it ourselves as we did not know about that. From there handling the furniture etc was very hard handed when they got here to offload. Our landlord was there to check everything and help us to move in, as we all were tired after being awake for so long as the truck was late for picking up (3-4hours late) and dropping off (3-5 hours late). After they said we have to be at the receiving end we did not sleep for more than 33hrs. So yes we all were tired. Then we were not allowed to take pictures of the broken stuff because he has to try and fix it. Then one said after dropping my brand new computer just bought before the move a few times rolling in the truck, that he is an IT guy and that the computer is not broken that in fact it then was broken, so now I cannot work as I have to do edits from my computer. So no work no pay. The other computer has been badly scratched. Most of our sealed crates are broken the lids. When the truck was opened most of the stuff fell over on top of things so we don't even know what more stuff are broken inside the crates even some of then we said breakable stuff and this way up was upside down. Also being rude to our landlord for helping us moving things around was unacceptable!! But what got me the most is we asked not to come inside our bedroom and then one guy came in and we asked please get out he just walked straight pass us looking at things inside the room. We asked multiple times to leave and then started arguing with us and harrassed us and took long to leave he only left after our landlord helped us to get him out of our bedroom. This is unacceptable and we do not appreciate the amount of stuff that's been damaged and broken. We have been awake since 06:00 on Thursday. We were told that they will take 12 hours, so no time for us to sleep, drove right through the night, waited for them for an exceptional long time and no communication to us as we could have at least slept for an hour or two. Multiple times we stated that we were tired, we were all tired, and it's not a time for a discussion and arguing , and it was not respected. If your staff is that over tired and over worked it needs to be looked at. But we should not, no one should be exposed to that type of behaviour and harassment. You have send us an invoice, we paid full amount immediately. You send us an additional amount, we paid immediately. So why were we treated in such a manner? Why was our stuff and landlord treated with such disregard? I would definitely not recommend this company at all. Also please make sure that you have additional insurance cover on everything as CM Removals do not pay for anything if you choose to use them. And make sure to read the contract in full. Also have everything on email on black and white not phone calls. Also print out the contract and let them sign it as they guys "Looses the contacts out of their window" Regards Mickey
