Information displayed on CPB is old and incorrect. All other bereau's are updated with correct info. Makro and other retailers use CPB, which makes it impossible to buy on credit and you only find out when doing the application.

Since last year I have been struggling to get prescribed debt (2021) removed from my profile, an account that has been paid up in 2024,and an account that is reflecting as arrears since 2021 that has been paid up, a year later again last week I disputed again the same accounts. How come these accounts were never attended to as retention periods for all 3 accounts is way past its date,we in 2026, 5 years later. This has greatly affected my well being as all other major credit bureaus have these accounts removed as retention periods have passed or as paid up with no data on payment history as its 5 years old. Please get a move on,with rectifying my data correctly and swiftly

I have paid up my debts, the red flag was remove but it still shows that I have missed payments I mean if you paid up your account how can it still show you have missed payments should it not rather show that it is late payments because it is paid up

Dear, Ms. Marina Short Chief Executive Officer Consumer Profile Bureau Subject: Urgent appeal for intervention in alleged *****ulent commissioning and complicity at CPB. I am writing to bring to your attention a serious case of internal misconduct and potential ******** activity within the Consumer Profile Bureau involving Mr. Muhsin Kader, who is currently employed at CPB as a “major business analyst”. Mr. Kader conducted the *****ulent commissioning and certification of my and my sister’s ID and driver’s license without the presentation of the originals. The stamp used to belong to a commissioner of oaths who has personally confirmed in writing that the signature was falsified and that he did not authorize or perform the commissioning. This act constitutes a direct violation of the Justice of the Peace and Commissioners of Oaths Act 16 of 1963, as well as potential identity ***** under South African law. Given Mr. Kader’s position within CPB, he has access to the personal and financial data of millions of South African consumers, creating an alarming risk of abuse and data manipulation for personal gain. This matter therefore extends far beyond a personal grievance – it poses a systemic security and ethical threat to the Bureau and its clients. I initially raised this matter with Mr. Dirk and Ms. Nicolene, who informed me that there was insufficient evidence to proceed and then claimed the matter was considered resolved. In response, I submitted additional supporting material, including: - Statements from the legitimate Commissioner of Oaths confirming the *****ulent signature and use of his stamp; - Screenshots of WhatsApp messages showing that Mr. Kader sent me the falsified documents while I was hospitalized undergoing chemotherapy; and - Copies of the falsified documents themselves. Despite overwhelming evidence, CPB management has refused to act. I have reason to believe this inaction stems from a conflict of interest: Mr. Kader reportedly performed extensive repair on a BMW owned by the acting CEO, saving him approximately R20 000.00. This financial favour appears to have compromised internal impartiality, slain the integrity of CPB and obstructed a fair investigation. I urge you as the Chief Executive Officer to intervene personally and ensure that this matter is investigated independently and transparently. The integrity of CPB’s systems, staff, and reputation is at stake when I transfer the investigation over to social media journalists upon receiving your response. Ignoring such evidence undermines not only public trust in your institution but also the lawful duty of care owed to South African consumers. I am prepared to cooperate fully with any independent investigation and to provide sworn statements and documentary proof as required (all of which was submitted to Nicolene and Dirk. I trust you will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and confirm receipt of this letter at your convenience. Yours Sincerely, Shabeer

I thought Experian SA is the worsed, I had a judgement removed from the SA top 3 credit Bureaus (Experian, TransUnion, & XDS), yet CPB still haven't removed it on their system, Such a serious set back and inconvenience. CPB please update my credit record. I've logged the dispute with all information including paid up letter.

I have received my clearance certificate and paid up letters from my debt counselor at Zero Debt 3 months ago and still my credit profile is not updated according my clearance certificate. When I dispute my credit profile /information I get informed that it's my debt counselor responsible to instruct to update. My debt counselor at Zero debt assured me numerous times that it has been done but still my credit profile does not get updated. Frustrated and unhappy.
