I completed certifications last year 1st Certificate completed on ,11 September 2025, 2nd on 8 October 2025 and 3rd on the 2nd December 2025, which is also indicated on my portal. This month February 2026. I did ID verification and when I printed my certification, they indicated that I completed all 3 of the on 23 February 2026 . When I spoke to Matthew, one of their support team to escalate the matter he advise that three certificates show the completion date February 23, 2026, as that was the day you verified your ID, and the certificates were released.three certificates show the completion date 23 February 2026, as that was the day you verified your ID, and the certificates were released. Why this was not clearly communicated upfront to learners? I never saw any communication that delaying ID verification is going to overwrite the historical course completion date when certifications are issued. I get many emails from Coursera about why this was not emphasized. Now this puts me at a disadvantage it does not make sense how 3 certificates are completed on the same date, which misrepresents my academic record and raises a credibility concern when I am submitting them. I formally request an official letter from Coursera with a letterhead that states the courses were completed prior to 23 February 2026 and stating that this is known system behaviour and it does not affect the legitimacy of my certificates. He refused to assist me with that.

I am at a point where I am totaly frustrated by a poor response as I have limited time and have suddenly lost all progress made ever since I had joined the platform for learning. I had all sorts ofd positive talk and now, Im just shaken by this experience. I had completed a number of modules, working towards concluding a number of certificates to comence on courses and from courses to degrees. All my progress just suddenly disappeared and its been a week. I'm left to argue with AI and no human intervention. Its frustrating because I had a time frame to work with and to see it slip away like this. This is crazy disaster. Am I the first and only to experience this?. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

This platform makes it impossible to contact them. No ticket system available or nothing. There is no way to contact them. I suspect that they make it as difficult for customers to contact them as this will impact their bottom line. If a portal exists to contact them I have been unable to find it after searching for an hour.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my Coursera course - Integrative Nurse Specialist and with each new module I app**** for financial aid and it was granted. The lecturers were fantastic, knowledgeable and easy to follow, with multiple choice questions and well explained assignments. 10/10. It appears impossible to 'talk' to someone one face to face; but besides that obstacle, it does have a email support option, but there is no personal interaction on this, it will simply look into your problem and resolve it. Study at your own pace, in your own space and try again if you don't pass the first time around. I just love it.

Listen this is the best educational online school ever. It Offers a wide range of courses and recently have been able to complete six courses for free. They were offering courses for free to university students and i have to say i learnt a lot and im considering paying for other courses as well. Great lecturers who give enough understandable information and making it easy to pass their courses. Thank you coursera!!

You asked for my Card details and said they are for verification purpose why did you deduct $98 from my Acc? Why are you misleading people by saying you will notify before the 1st deduction? You just deducted money from my account a few minutes ago and may i please have that transaction reversed Please be transparent

A case with CourseRA has remained unresolved since its inception in early January 2017. The case concerns a blatant and malicious attack on my academic and professional submission of an assignment for a course conducted in December 2016 entitled “Global Warming I”. The assignment, for Week 12 of the course, under scrutiny is “Temperature and Rainfall assessment for South Africa (1950 to 2015) to shape climate policies”. The problem started when CourseRA condoned the behaviour of another CourseRA learner who had publicly commented in the course forum that “...author is a scientist who is too advanced to be taking this class...”., amongst other similar comments, including one concerning plagiarism. In each instance, the statements made were a violation of Code of Conduct of CourseRA. I urged CourseRA that my assignment should be reviewed by the course co-ordinator, the course presenter, and also again by the learner who made the harmful allegations. I challenge the statement made on plagiarism, and the inappropriateness of the comment pertaining to my serious commitment to do well in the course. In addition, representatives of CourseRA (Max, Alex, Frank) stalled to escalate this matter, and took an inappropriately long time to provide me with your contact details. These representatives were not pro-active in resolving the matter, to the point that the case is still unresolved to date. As shown in the file attachment, I provided a full list of references for the work compiled, and through a daily usage of MS ExcelTM, I am able to utilise to the full extend the program to generate the necessary statistics for the assignment. It is also to be noted that do date, I have not received an apology from the learner, not from CourseRA, for the false allegations made against my person. Keeping in mind that the peer reviewers in the course can be potential clients/customers or employers, this reflects poorly on my character. Simply removing the comment is insufficient, and does not resolve the case, nor the fact that the case has not progressed, and certainly, it has not been resolved. No progress has been on this case, by eithe CourseRA or their legal representatives Mofo.
