CreditIntel is unprofessional and *********. My TransUnion report showed a listing for R5,845, which I settled on 27 February 2026 by paying R5,850. Now they are claiming extra 'fees'—first R2,700, then suddenly R2,100. They are charging me for 'Communication Fees' from 2024, but their own recordings prove they were calling a wrong number that is not mine. I demand my Paid-Up Letter and an immediate update to my credit profile

Have a account that I have been paying with them for almost 5 years. Looked at the statement, thee charge a person twice in one month for the same thing. They even charge for sending a receipt. Where I asked them to stop sending this useless info. Today all the lady could say was, pay more on the account then you will pay it off earlier. When asked if I pay the full amount she said there client doesn't allow for a discount. You need to pay the full amount. Yes but stop sending letter for unnecessary stuff. And then she said they send it to a email and a sms. Hello I'm a grown up I know that I need to pay and I don't need reminders or acknowledgements. Once a year is more then sufficient. I will never finish paying this account of if I pay 1200 per year and your fees are 420 per year.

I have received a outstanding account of R1933 from Credit Intel on a message about a year ago. I went to Centlec Bloemfontein and have gotten the proof from Centlec Bloemfontein that i am not owing anything to them. I then mailed the proof with zero balance to them. After obtaining me email address they have now started to send me terrible messages and emails. They could not provide me with any documentation of the said account, This account is 20 years old since i vacated the property they say i owe money.

If there was an award for Harassment of the Year, Credit Intel would win without even trying. I am being chased for R10 000 supposedly owed to “Computech” — a company I’ve never bought from, never signed with, never even seen in my life. At this point, I’m convinced they just spin a wheel in the office and pick a random person to bother for fun. Their professionalism? Non-existent. You phone them for clarity, and they reward you by putting the phone down in your ear like it’s part of their training manual. “Step 1: Harass. Step 2: Hang up. Step 3: Repeat.” I am reporting this because I’m tired of being contacted for a **** debt that doesn’t belong to me. If they have proof, they can show it. If not, they can stop wasting my time. Absolutely unacceptable. Sort this out.

Dear CreditIntel Debt Administrator: This correspondence relates to the numerous calls you have made and the daily harassment you continue to inflict on me over what you have described as an alleged debt that is allegedly owed to Walter Sisulu University. The total amount of the alleged obligation is said to be R10699.12. I want you and everyone else concerned to know that I do not owe Walter Sisulu University any money. Accordingly, your claims are disputed and ******* under the law—they are invalid. The Prescription Act 68 of 1969, sometimes known as "the Act," governs prescription in South African jurisprudence. This idea is crucial in figuring out which debts are still enforceable and due. As a result of prescription, a debtor is no longer legally obligated to pay back an old debt due to the passage of time, as specified by the Act's time periods for each type of obligation. Prior to moving forward with this, I would want to remind you that everyone in this nation is entitled to legal protections in accordance with the provisions of numerous laws. As per Section 10 (1) of the Prescription Act 68 of 1969, the customers or debtor are likewise protected in this situation, accordingly, a debt is prescribed if during the past three years: · You did not admit to owing on the debt, either verbally or in writing; · You have not made payment towards the outstanding amount; · Summons was not issued and served on you. Furthermore, Section 126B of the National Credit Act (NCA) (Act No. 34 of 2005) handles the concept of prescribed debt in consumer credit agreements. It forbids the sale, collection, or reactivation of debts eliminated by prescription under the Prescription Act. This means that if a creditor does not pursue a debt for a set period of time (often three years for most consumer debts), it cannot be collected, sold, or pursued legally. In light of the aforementioned legalities or legislations, as well as other applicable laws, I respectfully request that you cease from pursuing me regarding the purported debt—I do not owe Walter Sisulu University any money. I made no commitment or acknowledgement of any debt, either in writing or by phone. Please remove my name from your debt record and update your system. Refrain from bothering me over this matter. I cannot get feedback. Invoice amounts is not corresponding and no-one answers an email. In the meantime I am constantly threatened with escalated steps. They have been given proof of payment and yet, I keep getting sms with increased amounts. It is as if they are making money of customers and makes it impossible to actually settle an account
