We joined CSI as we believed them to be an honest and trustworthy business. When we sold our property in 2022, I sent an email with a notification to cancel the service as at end-September 2022. To date, this has not been done and they are still taking a debit order from my banking account every month. Now I am battling to get any feedback or resolution of this matter from CSI.

Pretoria based, Family orientated business with amazing friendly staff who always go above and beyond to assist. Placed a guard at our premises for added security and the technical team fixed our alarm in no time. After the break in they were first to arrive on scene and we werent even their customers yet, super professional and we are extremely happy to still be their customers aftee years of great service.

Pretoria based, Family orientated business with amazing friendly staff who always go above and beyond to assist. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the services provided by CSI Security in the Menlo Park / Ashlea Gardens / Waterkloof area of Pretoria. My ordeal with CSI began when I moved into my new property and decided to continue with their security services, as they were already servicing the previous owners. The initial assessment of the alarm and beams in and around the house resulted in an exorbitant quote to replace all the batteries on the beams, a cost I found unreasonable. Subsequently, I took it upon myself to replace the batteries, but unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue of sensors not detecting movement. Furthermore, I requested assistance with the electric fence, a matter that was never addressed by CSI despite assurances. Frustrated by their lack of follow-through, I engaged a third party to assess and repair the electric fence. The tipping point that led me to file this complaint on your platform was an incident over the weekend. Upon receiving an alarm signal, I promptly informed CSI that they could dispatch a vehicle to the address, as I was also en route and approximately 2KM away. Despite the proximity of the property to CSI's main routes and their office being a mere 500m away, the CSI response vehicle arrived a staggering 15-20 minutes after my call, making their response time more than 20 minutes. Had my family or I been at the property during a potential break-in or threat, the delayed response could have had severe consequences. The evident lack of urgency and commitment to ensuring the safety of their clients is deeply troubling. It appears that CSI is more interested in selling security equipment than actively safeguarding families. I urge potential clients to exercise caution when considering CSI Security for their services, especially when it comes to the safety and well-being of loved ones. Unbelievable poor service. We signed up them on 11th of August 2023 on two properties. They quoted us to upgrade the current alarm. We paid the quote to do the upgrade. After a week they told me it was done. I went to link my phone through there app. I found that a lot off passive sensors was not working and was told I was not quoted for that. I got another quote and paid. Again it was not fixed. I am still not able to connect on my phone. I get daily sms's and calls to tel me the alarm was triggered. With every phone call I request for a manager or CEO to call me. To date nothing. Pathetic

The security team is great but completely useless admin and accounts team. We cancelled our service when relocating back in April ‘23. They informed us of the unreasonable 3 months cancellation fee (notice), but that is not why I’m complaining. So they deducted a debit order in May ‘23 and I paid the other 2 months of the cancellation at the same time, didn’t want to wait for debit orders to go off every month. I informed them that I made the payment and that service should be cancelled immediately. Guess what? June 1st, debit order goes off. Takes us 2 weeks to sort it out with their admin department - a relentless struggle back and forth. Finally we are in the clear, right? Nope, July 1st debit order goes off. This time we only received our refund in August, weeks to sort it out - somehow the people have now forgotten about the month before and we started at the beginning again. August 1st, no debit order, oh but wait now I still get an invoice mailed to me (on the 20th) but it has a bold CANCCELED next to my name (yes that is the spelling used). Right so I mail to ask to not receive invoices. Response I get is they promise to not send me an invoice and to stop generating them. Yay! Finally free of this spider web of CSi Security Admin… Nope! September and then now October invoices have been sent to me and I cannot speak to these useless people anymore.

The security team is great but completely useless admin and accounts team. We cancelled our service when relocating back in April ‘23. CSI Security Pretoria have been one of the most disappointing service providers I have come across, from inception right through to the termination of the contract , I have had poor feedback when contacting them, no response to my alarm that went off a few times and still have to pay 2 months notice in order to cancel my contract after a year. Not recommended at all please be aware.

CSI Security Pretoria have been one of the most disappointing service providers I have come across, from inception right through to the termination of the contract , I have had poor feedback when contacting them, no response to my alarm that went off a few times and still have to pay 2 months notice in order to cancel my contract after a year. Not recommended at all please be aware.

Don't even deserve one star. Imagine laying a complaint with a security company about one of their guards, and what is their response to you .... they block you on their facebook social media page. What a disgrace! And then a person is supposed to entrust them with their safety?!! What a joke!!

They take money from your account and then there is no way to contact their accounts department. You can call until you're blue in the face and leave 1000 messages. They do not call you back. How are you supposed to resolve anything?
