My wedding dressed was ordered with De La Vida and made through Sew Couture. I ordered an accessory for my dress which I was not allowed to return, but received credit. With the credit I ordered a summer dress, which was not delivered within a month of order date- no notifications or even a sorry for the wait. Phoned them numerous times and sent mails only to be ignored. My dress was never delivered and my money never payed back. They do not answer my calls, do not reply on my mails and even if they phone you (which they only did once) they do it from a PRIVATE NUMBER so that you can't reach them again. I wish I knew how terrible their service delivery was, as I would have NEVER even bought my wedding dress with them.

I took my bespoke wedding gown to De La Vida Bridal Couture for slight alterations. (I needed my zip to be fixed as it was puckering up the fabric.). They assured me they could fix it. I left my gown in their hands with all confidence in their abilities. Was I wrong! Day after day they made promises and every time I returned for my fitting the dress had the same issue. Eventually, they returned the dress unfixed. They blamed the original designer of the dress and even complained about the amount of hours they had spent working on it! They had no solution, and last minute proposed to create a whole new skirt for the dress (with my wedding 3 days away...). I had already paid in the beginning so when I asked for a refund (as the job was not at all done) they refused and eventually stopped responding to my emails. They were very quick and friendly when I approached them as a new client, but very quick to close the door on my complaints when they didn't deliver. Absolutely no attempt to openly communicate and resolve the issue. So much for "Couture". There was nothing pleasant about my experience. I might as well have gone to any simple bridal shop. What a waste of time and money!

Received the best customer service any bride can wish for, recently I discovered that I am expecting and requested a swop for the original dress I had ordered. This is not something I planned, It breaks my heart to have to look for a new dress when I had everything picture perfect in my dream bridal gown.</p> <p>Considering that the fact that, t...here has been no alterations made on the dress yet and It is still in De La Vida's possession. I offered to top up or forfeit the balance of what I had paid for my first gown. I was informed of the store policy which only caters for exchanges within 5 days. Why would anyone want to change a dress within 5 days? A wedding is not an event one can plan over night. For a wedding gown which has not left the De la Vida store, not a single alteration made onto the dress, how difficult can it be for the store to sell the dress again?</p> <p>I had such fond memories of the excellent customer service from all staff members, sadly it is turning to a nightmare, It is a month before my wedding, I do not have a dress to wear or money to purchase a new one. The owner has not responded to my last mail, no comment from the designer for any possible discussion of dress alterations, no feedback from the consultant. I am still in shock, after all the wonderful memories I experienced, it had to come to this, for a customer who settled payment in full on time.</p>

Had such excellent service from Jessica at De la Vida Bridal Couture. She booked my appointment and emailed confirmation straight away. I sent an email requesting if certain dresses were in store to try on and requested costs of the dresses. Jessica quick responded with all the requested information. When speaking to Jessica on the phone she sounds enthusiastic and genuinely happy to help. It is so nice knowing there are people out there happy to provide a good service. I look forward to my appointment.
