I am currently living abroad but left SA while my Telkom contact was still active as it included my phone which was not fully paid for at the time. When the final payment for the phone was complete, I attempted to cancel the contract. Telkom makes sure this is impossible. Not only do they not have a way to contact them from outside the country, the will not allow any representatives to cancel on your behalf even if you have a matter and ID copy. They are happily billing me month after month, for airtime bundles I cannot even use! This is ridiculous!!
I took my bespoke wedding gown to De La Vida Bridal Couture for slight alterations. (I needed my zip to be fixed as it was puckering up the fabric.). They assured me they could fix it. I left my gown in their hands with all confidence in their abilities. Was I wrong! Day after day they made promises and every time I returned for my fitting the dress had the same issue. Eventually, they returned the dress unfixed. They blamed the original designer of the dress and even complained about the amount of hours they had spent working on it! They had no solution, and last minute proposed to create a whole new skirt for the dress (with my wedding 3 days away...). I had already paid in the beginning so when I asked for a refund (as the job was not at all done) they refused and eventually stopped responding to my emails. They were very quick and friendly when I approached them as a new client, but very quick to close the door on my complaints when they didn't deliver. Absolutely no attempt to openly communicate and resolve the issue. So much for "Couture". There was nothing pleasant about my experience. I might as well have gone to any simple bridal shop. What a waste of time and money!
I went to this doctor's beauty boutique (Dr Chibi DentAesthetics) to get my eyebrows Microbladed. She was quite stand-offish and forceful with her opinion. She did not have a consultation to find out what I wanted, nor would she let me choose my own eyebrow shape, insisting she new best. After spending R1200, there was absolutely no trace of the microblading by Day 14. Zero. When you call to book the touch-up session, she does not come to the phone to answer any questions, but rather leaves all the queries to the assistant. Sadly, I was not impressed by her services.
Don't make the mistake of trying to cancel your membership. You'll be given the runaround. Their websites, App, phones will be mysteriously "down" and no one will be able to process your request. They're quick to sign you up, but extremely slow (if at all) to help you when you need them to do something.
Spar Monument Park has really good service, friendly, helpful and efficient staff and is always well stocked.
The staff are always very friendly, efficient and professional. The service is great.
Had a bad experience when I upgraded to Private Client. The Private Banker was not the best and did not inform me on the process of migration between old and new accounts. I faced challenge after challenge because of it and "my Banker" was anywhere but helping deal with the issue. Not satisfied at all. FNB is good on selling and terrible on delivery.
I've had a problem with my car alarm since I got the car in June 2019 (a brand new 208 puretech). I've taken it in for repairs to Westvaal Menlyn 3 times and they have not been able to fix it. The staff haven't given me solutions, not even a curtesy car. They don't seem to know what they are doing, barely helpful. So disappointing and a great inconvenience.
