This has been the worst company I've ever worked with. They just straight avoid your calls, the entire stuff is always unavailable to communicate with, Jennifer is the WORST individual I've dealt with so far. Refuses/ evade to pay back your deposits, wont figure out invoices mistakes. Do yourself a favor, spend your money elsewhere. This is for your own sake.

Please take note that if you order from this company they don't refund the "refundable breakage deposit" I had my function on 30th October 2021 and still waiting for my refund I call everyday and they keeping making promises but until now I haven't received anything.

Due to covid and personal reasons we had to cancel our wedding plans and could not move them. We had paid decor mechanics in full weeks before the wedding in good faith. We paid over R 8 000.00 and they are refusing to pay it back to us. When you phone or send emails, they are just simply ignored. They hide behind the reason that they can only start working at level 1.... surely your internet banking works?? Overall shady & I will never deal with them ever in my life again. We paid for a service we could not use and now they are just keeping our money. Where in your life is that ok?? No initiative was taken to see where they could help the customer, no payment plan was proposed or even just a simple pick up of a phone to talk to the customer and explain whats going on. Proper shady business. Cant get a hold of the owner or the manager, poor service & quality.

The definition of incompetence. We placed an order 2 months in advance for my mom's 60th birthday. We paid 60% deposit a month before the event. The day before the party they inform us they don't have stock so will just give us two different champagne glasses. 15 of each. They were not even close to looking the same. They also don't know the difference between red and white wine glasses. And they gave us 4 chipped glasses. Run away. Take your money else where.

The company employees are incompetent, slow to respond and uninformed. After giving them detailed instruction they still mananged, after how many consultations, to mess up the order. Very disappointing.

Shocking Service!!! I dont even want to give this company a star!!! I hired vases for my wedding in March .returned the items 19 March... Today is the 3rd of May and still NO Refund.. I received my credit note the week of my return and still NO Refund. I call approximately 3 times a week and all I hear is there is a back log and they will release my refund today... I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!

<p>I'm very disappointed in the srvice I have been receiving from Decor Mechanics regarding receiving my refundable deposit for some items which I hired on the 2nd of December 2016. It is now today the 30th December and I still have NOT received my money bac**** what makes me even more angry is each time I call, I'm promised that my name is on the lis to receive the refund because they had a backlog, I'm still WAITING as I'm typing this review! The lies that I was told were unnecessary and extremely offensive as a customer. To have to wait a whole month for a refundable deposiT when they have they stuff returned to them is extremely unfair and unprofessional!</p>

I went to Decor Mechanics to get a quotation for d?cor that I need for my wedding.<br> From the day I left their shop they have been telling me one story after another when ever I asked for the quotation so that I can make a deposit to book their stuff. I don't get a response from the sales people or the manager. I sent numerous emails but nothing from anyone.<br> They offer very bad service and don't know how to treat a customer. <br> If they are so bad just to give a quotation I would hate to know what happens when you've booked them and they decide not to pitch to do your wedding d?cor.
