Riaan van Heerden's restaurant does not smoke the pipe!
After hearing about their famous pap and cracklings, we decided to visit one Saturday morning to try it out. What a disappointment! The cracklings were extremely dry, tough as leather, and completely tasteless. After forcing down a couple, I decided I’d had enough — I wasn’t about to risk damaging the crowns and bridges in my mouth. I’ve had plenty of cracklings in my life, but what they served was simply unacceptable. The manager took my portion back to the kitchen for the staff to inspect, but then forgot about it entirely. In the end, I was still charged for the so-called “crackling dish” — despite barely touching it. That’s just poor service. My wife and son-in-law also couldn’t finish their portions. The cracklings were simply inedible. Sadly, I don’t think Delizioso Restaurant will be seeing us again.

Excellent food and service!
What a great experience! I can really recommend the pizza's, chicken livers and chicken schnitzel. We had a very friendly waiter, Simba and the manager was extremely friendly and involved as well. I'll definitely go back and recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family.

My voluntary assistance was met with unexpected financial demands. I've decided not to proceed with the project. Wishing them success in future collaborations with better transparency and respect."

Delizioso: Anything BUT enjoyable!
Deliziosa Restaurant, Doringkloof, Centurion: One of the biggest disappointments in a long time. The food was a disaster, the atmosphere was atrocious due to the music that kept "scratching" in the background. The one star is because of our friendly waitress - the only light at the end of this dark tunnel. People - don't waste your time and money, rather go to the Wimpy next door.

Need more staff, some items removed from menu to focus on what works at the restaurant.
The place is nice but very busy and the orders took 45 minutes to get to the table - Only 2 x Wakey wakey breakfasts (2 eggs, bacon, toast and "roasted tomato") and a muesli jar (muesli, fruit, seeds and greek yoghurt). The "roasted" tomato was raw and I had huge pieces of dried fruit and a couple of seeds and muesli with mostly greek yoghurt!!!! Take the health jar off the menu, it's extremely dissapointing.

Disappointing Delizioso's
We had dinner at Delizioso Restaurant in Centurion on Monday evening, 22 May 2023. This is the restaurant that belongs to Rian van Heerden. Very disappointing. We had to send back two of the 6 plates of food because their seafood was off. One pizza was half cooked and the eisbein was very disappointing. The interior of the restaurant is not on par - at least hide the plastic buckets and ovens that is standing on the floor out of site Rian! The staff was friendly and the prices are so-so, but this place will not see me again.

Disappointing Delizioso's
