I have been a client of Standard Bank for 37 years. I have neber ncountered so many problems with them as in the last 3 monts. They deleted my profile and I lost R8 000 as a result. I am having problems with Ucount, debit orders, fradulant transactions on my credit card! If I was the CIO of Standard Bank, I would take a very close look at IT departmens's doings. There are database issues.
I have never in my life dealt with a more *********** company than Bankmed which is administeted by DISCOVERY. I have phoned their chronic meds section about 15 times in the last month but nobody answers the phone. I have emailed them but receive feedback that makes no sense at all, and offcourse with NO TELEPHONE MUMBER WHERE I CAN CONTACT THEM. You are ****** *****S. BANKMED, get another company to administer this fund. My membership fees is R15 000 per month for 2 people!!!!!!

My rating of Takelot 6 monthsvago would have been 5 out of 5. However, 3 things happened: 1. Someone called eathenshongwe@gmail.com hacked into my account. This was a total nightmare that took me 4 weeks to resolve. 2. The site is currently crawling with bugs, so much so that a I cannot buy anything at all. 3. And this is the most irritating of all...when you search for something it brings up a whole bunch of alternatives than what you are looking for. I have been using Takealot for 4 years. Why all this **** now?
I have been trying to get informatio from Bankmed for 2 weeks now without success Bankmed benefit enhancements, contribution and Plan selection for 2025 -MailRef#3352204066#-. IS ANYBODY AT BANKMED ACTUALLY WORKING???!!!
When are you going to fix your website!? It freezes, hangs and gets stuck and this has been going on for months now!

We had dinner at Delizioso Restaurant in Centurion on Monday evening, 22 May 2023. This is the restaurant that belongs to Rian van Heerden. Very disappointing. We had to send back two of the 6 plates of food because their seafood was off. One pizza was half cooked and the eisbein was very disappointing. The interior of the restaurant is not on par - at least hide the plastic buckets and ovens that is standing on the floor out of site Rian! The staff was friendly and the prices are so-so, but this place will not see me again.
If I could score this company MINUS 5 I would have. From all the most pathetic companies I have dealt with in South Africa lately, Ampath takes the cake! On 25 November 2022 I paid my account with Ampath in full. In January I started getting phone calls from debt collectors. Upon further investigation I found that the payment of R3374,60 which I made was never reflected in their books. Now hear this - the GREAT Ampath does not email accounts to you. They simply send you and SMS to say that your account is outstanding. So when I paid the account based on the information in the SMS it apparently went to another company. I made a call to Ampath's call center to enquire further during which I was told by a Moosa that the money was in fact received and was paid into one of the Ampath's debt collector company's banking accounts. He said this was not a problem, they will transfer the money. He logged a call for the money to be transferred. I was then informed via email from an EXTREMELY snotty Mr Dan Tshwane that the account was not paid to Ampath and basically that Moosa was talking BS. During my discussions with Mr Tshwane it turned out that there is a **** running where Ampath accounts are paid are paid into a **** account - based on the information on the SMS. Now my question is - where did these hackers get my patient information in order to send me this SMS? I put it to Mr Tshwane that their systems must have been hacked for an external party to have this kind of information. Mr Tshwane basically told me too bad - pay the account!! So I, as the customer, have to pay for whatever is going on at Ampath. Great!!!!! Thanks for NOTHING Mr Dan!
More than a month ago I ordered a bed from Dial-a-Bed. Ofcourse I had to pay for it immediately. After I placed the order somebody phoned and said I qualify for free delivery. I asked to have the bed delivered yesterday, 31 March 2023. I followed this up with an email and another call. Needless to say, the bed was not delivered yesterday. When I phoned the shop at Eco Park at 15h00 (we were moving house yesterday) nobody knew anything about my order. Promised to phone back. And so it went, on and on. Spoke to Tuli (with a babt crying in the background) at online orders who said she will send the warehouse an email and copy me on it, which I have not received. Today, we need to rent a trailer and drive from Centurion to Jhb (100kms) to collect the bed ourselves if we don't want to sleep on the floor again tonight!!!!!
