just now Very disappointed after purchasing a cell phone with a six month warranty, found that the cell phone battery was faulty After asking for a refund I was told that a refund is not allowed An offer to purchase the phone was made for a fraction of the price which was less than 10% of my purchase price and would be placed back in the cabinet and be resold for a huge profit. Do not deal with this company as they state there is a six month warranty on phones which is false advertising. Rather go to a reputable company. The Chinese owner/manager is definitely diishonest and has no integrity and definitely does not believe in customer satisfaction. Digi Cafe's owner has no customer relations. Digi Cafe is definitetly not recommended.

Do not ever use them!! They are completely useless and dishonest.. I took in a Xbox One for repairs, a couple of days later they called me to tell me that they checked everything and that it was not possible to repair the console and that I still owe them R350 for a handling fee. I took it to another service provider for second opinion and he fixed it in one day.. Do not ever go to Digi Cafe, they are a bunch of crooks, they take your money for absolutely nothing!!

I approached Digi Cafe Cape Gate on 24 Dec 2021 for a battery replacement (Samsung S9+). The request was to replace the old battery with an ORIGINAL SAMSUNG BATTERY since pirate batteries can also be fitted. The owner/manager himself was involved and promised that this request will be honoured. Upon receipt of the phone, the battery performance since the start was very poor. It was tested for an extensive period to ensure that the battery performance was the issue. When the cause was established, Digi Cafe (owner/manager) was once again requested to rectify the issue on 5 January 2022. After a long explanation from both the manager and client, the battery (according to them) was replaced. This time it was done without an elastic band to keep the screen in place after refitment compared to the first replacement. It was suspect because of two reasons: 1. The hesitant " explanation and replacement" and 2. the elastic band that was not required upon the second "replacement". After further testing as should be the practice by the client, the battery's performance was still problematic. Digi Cafe Cape Gate (owner/manager) was then approached on 6 January 2022 for a refund. The owner/manager did not hesitate in supplying a long inquiry and refusal for not honouring this request. The client also requested his name and detail - he bluntly refused. Digi Cafe Cape Gate (owner/manager) is definitely dishonest, has no integrity and does not believe in customer satisfaction. It is therefore recommended that all prospective clients refrain from this corrupt business. There are other reputable businesses out there that does have integrity.

They sold my father in law an old 2015 model phone for R1800 as if new. I went with him to return it the next day. They completed the return form and said the funds from the original card transaction must first clear in their account and they will make an EFT that Friday plus send proof of payment via email. It never happened. And they do not respond. Stay away from https://digicafe.co.za/

I had my cellphone repaired by them. They called me to come and collect. The first chance I got, which was 2 days after their call, I went to collect my phone, I had to take an Uber. When I got there they couldn't find my phone and said I had to come back at a later date.

I am extremely disappointed in these guys honestly. I Asked them for a quote to replace a MacBook Back light fuse, and even created a image showing them which one, they ended up saying it was different fuses, which wasn't a problem, they fixed the problem within 4 days which wasn't a problem, and I was considering doing business with them going forward in the long term. Everything was great, but whatever they did ended up stop working after 24 hours, after re-booking the MacBook to them it took them 2 weeks to not only not fix the MacBook but these guys failed to mention they *****ed up the actual display of the MacBook after having said: "the MacBook cannot be repaired due to the (fuse or transistor) being in a tricky place" . ( I mean, honestly.....?) They refunded me which was acceptable , but failed to mention that they completely *****ed up the MacBook whilst having tried to fix the MacBook the second time, meaning that they obviously did a bad job the first time, which they didn't even have the decency of admitting when i went to collect it. During the 2 weeks I've waited for the MacBook the second time around I have heard some funny and poor excuses, some promises and the end result is I would have been better of not having taken the MacBook to them, because there is a massive difference between a 'no back-light' MacBook Issue and a 'bricked' MacBook which is what they ended up returning, having made me 2 weeks before I went to them myself as these guys just wasn't getting back to me at all. I'm really really disappointed about this and quite surprised and stunned that any company in today's times can have this type of work ethic. Unbelievable

I booked my Iphone 6S in for repairs, the phone was unable to power on and would not charge, or show any display on the screen. The technician diagnosed the problem to be the Charge IC that needed replacing and quoted me R650 to have the phone sorted and working. 5 days later I returned to the shop where they showed me the phone is in working order, there is display on the screen and the phone can charge up, ticking all the boxes. I was told to run the battery down before charging it up again for at least 8 - 10 hours which I did. After powering up the phone for 15 minutes I noticed the battery depletes quite quickly which I knew was not a good sign, but I figured maybe the battery has to calibrate itself. 5 days later I removed the phone from its case and saw that the screen has lifted off the body of the phone and the battery has swollen thick! I contacted them via Email and explained the scenario, also explaining that I have lost my collection receipt, only to hear that the only way they can help me is if I find that receipt as it acts as my warranty. they have more than one receipt book so they cant tell which book they would be able to find it!!! I managed to find the receipt and emailed it to them. I once again contacted them to find out if they received my email with the Receipt/ Warranty attached. They told me they only replaced the Charge IC and it had nothing to do with the battery. I can however bring the phone in and buy a new battery at a discounted price of R300 - THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! I am utterly disgusted and disappointed in the way they do business, they do not keep digital records of any of their business deals, they physically write out receipts (which is Ironic for a "DIGI- cafe" selling tech products in this day and age) - I had lost faith in this place entirely and will never refer or do any business with them ever again!!!
