Lawson direct channel😥 Why are companies exploiting their employees though..my sister works for this company called Lawson direct channel she worked for over 5 weeks and she got her first pay which was R160 I mean after all the hard work and sweat she put in ,that's the amount she got ..sad part is that she is expected to be at the office and deliver ...like why though??

<p>This company keeps calling my boss to advertise their loans to me, I do not need any loans and I have not heard about this company before. It is not the first time they're calling and I do not how they obtained my boss's contact number or how they know I have a connection to him. I want this to stop.</p>

Hi,<br> <br> My cellphone is a business phone, but becomes highly ineffective if I continuously get marketing phone calls for funeral policies. <br> <br> Upon asking where they get my number from she answered: \Edgars has partnered with Direct Channel and therefore they are allowed to give my contact details for marketing phone calls.\"<br> <br> Upon asking them to take my number off the list she said that if I don't give them a reason other than \"not interested\" they would simply continue calling me. <br> <br> This is UNACCEPTABLE!<br> <br> Please stop distributing my personnel information!.<br> <br> Ilanie"

I was called by a representative from Direct Rewards on about the 1st of Dec. 2015 who was selling a LifeStyle Rewards from Direct Rewards wherein the following was confirmed amongst the benefits:<br> <br> - A discount up to 30% on car hire from Firstcarental<br> - R50 Airtime & 25 sms's from Cell C<br> <br> Now I am sitting with three car rentals which they don't want and refuse to honour even a single car rental with a discount. I have made them aware that I am unhappy with the service and that I'd like to escalate my complaint to the Ombudsman for a recourse, but they are duck and diving with the details as from 19 Jan. 2016.<br> <br> On top of the above complaint, my Cell C benefits have been deactivated WEF: 19.02.2016 without me knowing. The monthly premium of R89.00 was agreed on for this policy but they are debiting R102.50.<br> <br> I like to warn everyone about dishonest of serevice consultants, team leaders, managers and directors of Direct Rewards before they become victims like myself:-(

So on Friday the 5th at 12:20pm, i received a call from one of the call centre agents at Direct Channel Holdings on behalf of Edgars.<br> I gave the agent time to explain the benefits of what she was calling about, but when i asked her to repeat herself after she rambles past some detail of the legal cover she was speaking of, she replied: <br> \I though you were listening\"... and dropped the call.<br> SERIOUSLY.... And you expect business from clients with that stinking attitude.... I work in a call centre and this behaviour gives my agents a bad name....<br> Appalling... SIES"

My 20 year old daughter received a call from one of their consultants last Friday evening around dinner time, promoting a scheme to get various discounts from retailers, etc. for R99 per month. After innocently giving them her bank account number we are now concerned that she will have unknowingly have contracted for a service she really doesn't need. The follow up SMS promised to her confirming the call of course hasn't arrived so now I will have to no doubt fight to get an opt out before the debit orders come through her account....
