This hospital is a joke my mother was greatly ill and we took her to casualty after spending hours waiting for someone to assist us when she finally got help, they refused to actually attend to her telling her that there are worser patients then her and sent her off with panado... We later found out she has stomach TB and would need treatment...they refused to run any tests the South African health system is really failing us.

Doctor Mudau is the the worst doctor and so unprofessional , we can so now see some doctors now only do it for the money and no longer for the passion. She is so unprofessional and so rude . We went to see her and before we could ask her a question she flipped and told us if we can see if shes busy and we must come back the following day , she refused to help just because she got told that we can see thats her job now she doing it only for a career and no longer a passion. She lacks empathy for other human being, all i can say is she is in the wrong profession because someone like her should never work with peoples loved ones. Dora nginza do better and check your staff

I must express my level of disappointment in one of the staff members that is working in labor ward C1-3. at Dora Nginza Hospital. Sister Hoyi is rude and Unprofessional, and she is a bully. She doesn't have the right way to treating people, she has no respect at all for people. She displays this behavior not only to the patients but to her colleagues as well. She doesn't have the blood to serve the public. She creates a toxic and unpleasant working environment and it's sad.

My grandson was born October 2023. There was complications during birth so he is still in hospital. The problem I have is the attitude that the nurse gives the patients. When you are in hospital obviously you are not well. You need help and mostly answers as to what's wrong , what is the cause and how you will be helped. Dora Nginza is a public hospital so we that cannot afford private hospitals go there and would love to also be treated like we matter. If you don't know someone working there than you are treated like the nurses are doing you a favor.. My grandson is in high care and when we ask about the progress of his health the nurse response was "can't you see he is in the incubator meaning that he I recovering" All I wanted was to know what made him land there, what cause of action you are taking to help him, is it helping , if not what will be the next step. If you aren't sure tell me to ask Dr for the information and not the attitude. 9 out of 10 nurses that we dealt with have this "I don't care" attitude. If you are lucky enough to know or being referred to someone then attitude changes. In my line of work I deal with people all the time and I know about empathy. Nurses in public hospital need to be taught people skills. We are all important please treat us all with respect.
