I phone the accounts department two week ago regarding a sms I received the Ladie advice that I did not pay for September and November I then log on to my account to check and advise her that the payment went of for the two months that she requested for and dowry decided to switch my receiver of with out advising me and I was not at home for the weekend and on top of that she did not even ask for my bank statement or an email.

I want to thank Dowry security for leaving me with damage to my vehicle, this is the result of a reaction vehicle that is not roadworthy skipping a stop street as he responded to a "alarm", to make matters beter he admitted fault and when the supervisor arrived, there was words in an unknown language and the story changed as they started intimidating my wife that was woman alone at that stage, i know this as she phoned me once they moved to the parking area and was on the call the entire time, i was at work at the stage and felt so hopeless as it is in Midrand and i can hear three people shouting we will see you, the result at the end is that according to their competent supervisor is that we should do what we want to and they will do the same, their license disk on the vehicle also expired and when the supervisor saw that it was noticed he got more aggravated, this leaves me with a lot of damage and a wife that is afraid of the very same people that should protect us. Thank you Dowry Security for your in-competence in managing your staff. if you do a proper investigation in re-constructing the accident and take the damage as can be seen you will find there is not "story" your team can give that justifies the damages.

If you are in need of a dependable armed response provider, I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Unfortunately, the quality of service provided by Dowry Security has deteriorated significantly over the past few months. I have reported several technical issues with my security system. The control room has repeatedly failed to receive my alarm signals, leaving my safety in a precarious position. The lack of consistent and reliable service is concerning, and it's never clear whether my alarm will be received by them or not. My complaint revolves around their techinical ability to service & protect paying clients. There are several issues that I have brought to the attention of Dowry’s technical team, but nothing seems to have been done to address them. For instance, the Dowry app frequently malfunctions, resulting in no status indicators or alarm triggers. Furthermore, my panel sends a daily test signal at 3:15am, which has caused confusion with the control room staff who have phoned me several times at that time, mistaking it for a panic alarm. Despite my repeated reports of this issue, nothing has been done to resolve it. I keep getting “We will look into it” only to never hear from them again. In addition, I ordered four new cameras from one of their technical staff in late November 2022, which to this day have not been delivered. Similarly, I have paid for new camera batteries from them in January, which have yet to be delivered, presumably because they were meant to be included with the cameras that never arrived. I have requested a refund for the batteries two days ago via email and phone, but have yet to receive any response from them. To make matters worse, Dowry’s technical staff frequently fails to show up for appointments, and when they do, they often do not complete the tasks they were supposed to. I have followed up countless times regarding the same matters. When I expressed my frustration to a manager, because the alarm stopped working as soon as we left for a week holiday, he apologized and assured me that things would be sorted out. Later that day the alarm worked again, but there are still outstanding issues. I warned the manager that I would share my experience with others online, but he didn't seem to take me seriously enough to even follow up, resulting in this complaint. If you value the safety and well-being of your family, I strongly recommend that you avoid Dowry Security. Their technical department appears to be overwhelmed or indifferent, and the level of service they provide is inadequate by even the lowest standards. I have been a loyal customer for almost ten years, but it's clear that things have gone from bad to worse, and it's time for me to find a more reliable provider. Clearly they are also not in the business of making money. The 4 extra cameras and new panel could have increase my monthly retainer, now they will be losing my entire contract.

Everytime I call for help, they can never respond. Now I called the so called armed response number twice and no one can hear me. I would had been dead by now if it was an emergency. Time to change company

Their customer service is very poor,instate of they explain to a client in detail,they insult and being arogant to their clients,iam referring to the ladies from their finance or collection department.I stopped to have a service with them,after I told them to report to their armed system as we're not doing well.After I called them for that report ,they said I will pay for my cost if they send their technician for repair.I was like nervous when I hear that as I did nothing wrong to their system,I cannot do anything to it .Nothing was working for 2 months and they busy deducting my money,I then stop and reverse because I didn't have service,after I ve done that ,they started to buck on me.How can they deduct though I don't have a service with them.They claimed that iam owing them 2 months of my money,.Then the statement came to say I owe 00 I paid them before the service was terminated.They came again ,and I send them the proof that iam not owing them ..they then kept quiet for 3 yrs ,and they then came now by saying iam owing them their radio transmission that they replaced,To my surprise what I know I paid to for the radio before the replacement otherwise they cannot replace,that was before the stoppage of their service.I guess someone is not doing the correct job there.please assist I don't owe this people they must stop bucking on me ,they frustrate me all the time.ADT ALSO DOES THE SAME WHEN U LIVE THEM THEY CLAIM THAT U ARE OWING THEM

Dis morning my alarm went of in the granny flat on my property @ 6:10 i fone my wife as she was alone with my 2 kids and ask if all was ok she comfirm with me that she and the kids were ok and it was a signal coming from the flat, I told her to stay in the house and that when dowry calls that a security guard be sent out and check. Dowry only call me at 6:55 and the call agent was so rude her excuse was because of load shedding thay could not respond to my alarm so dont a company that deals in the safe keeping of your family and property have a back up system in place or a genset for when the power is off. 45 min to just call and ask if all is ok and not even sent a guard to check up on the propety is just bad service and im gone move to a more responsive security service.
