One word- Ridiculous! They do not apply the Laws or the bylaws. Numerous occasions. Latest was a complaint to remove a *** sty and other ******* activities from my fence. Right on my fence used as a encament. Weekly ******* *** slaughtering. Law enforcement and Building regulators came for inspection and told me these activities are *******. I allowed them two weeks. Came back and perpetrator has built *** sties right on my fence but making it look like established buildings. No plans, No environmental impact study.No neighbour approval. Is the Municipal Manager involved. Yes, my first complaint was to him! I am on the urban edge so my property is Urban!

As expected this Municipality do not always provide a very efficient service and you can leave them messages on their phones to get a callback. No response. I have been fortunate to come into contact with a lady called Elizma Jobert, who has been an amazing in support to resolve my problems! Thank you so much for your friendly assistance Elizma! As expected this Municipality do not always provide a very efficient service and you can leave them messages on their phones to get a callback. No response. I used to believe that I was really fortunate living in suck a well managed town. That was then. It is nothing less that pathetic. I have been waiting since mid July for them to replace a street

So recently we discovered that we have been paying our neighbour's municipality bill for nearly 8months due to negligence and an error made by the engineer (P.Farmer)as he swoped the property numbers and water meter numbers. Our account increased with more than R800 and our bill is nearly R2500 for this month. I did send a mail to Mr. Danny Le Roux who is the principal engineering technician, as this is unfair towards me the client and new home owner but he informed me the financial department made a correction and we need to pay the arrears amount as we used the water, but how can i be penalized for an error/negligence from the engineer, if attention to detail and accuracy took place this would not have happen. We already live in a tough financial economy and know i am liable for an arrears payment. I was also informed i can make arrangements to pay it off in 3 months, to receive less electricity units, no way. No accountability is taken from the municipality, so it's fine to make mistakes and be negligent, me the client just needs to pay whatever comes your way.

080 131 3553 we called this number several time to report ******* connection, everytime the call centre pick up and drop the call. As citizens we are now confused on what steps to do, if the hotline is not hot anymore....

Absolutely pathetic service delivery. The fact that these toilets are overflowing and you as a Municipality is not doing anything about this is absolutely unacceptable. You don't come here thinking from Chicago are just whatever and treating the people like rubbish! Send your people to sort this out because it is absolutely disgusting

Absolutely pathetic service delivery. The fact that these toilets are overflowing and you as a Municipality is not doing anything about this is absolutely unacceptable.
