Company Digital Tech Install technician with the name of Garry. Absolute THIEF and RIP OFF ARTIST. Under no circumstances use this company or this technician. It was recommended by www.easyinstall.co.za. This installer charged me for new LNB and a new Dish which he never installed as well as 20m of cable. I discovered this when I went to check on the roof to make sure he laid the cable into the trunking. Which he also did not do. I am a pensioner and climbing onto my roof was not easy. I was a fool for believing he did the job properly. This cost me R 3,317 of hard earned pension money. Never use this company Digital Tech Install especially technician called Garry. Blatant thief. Sad that our country is well known for corruption and thieves and this just confirmed it for me again. Ingrid David

Jeff from onthego dstv installers stole my splitter and cut joint cables on the roof from another unit. When the tenants moved in they couldn't access their connections because of what the installer did. I paid him for the service and still took my money and the splitter and never came back even after complex management got involved. Until today he hasn't brought my splitter and we have been inconvenienced throughout the lockdown period. He is rude and abusive when you call him. I need multichoice to intervene as I've paid him for the service and he stole my splitter which I didn't even buy from him in the first place.

Me and my daughter stay next to each other and both of us have Dstv decoders. Her decoder suddenly lost signal. I have Dstv installation experience so I immediately suspected a faulty eye or line. I checked the connections and changed the eye, to no avail. II then unplugged my decoder and connected it to my daughters dish. My decoder had signal. So my prognosis were that her decoder were faulty. I phoned Westrand Dstv Installations telephone nrs: 078 585 0955 / 064 699 9589 - explaining the problem and that we need a new decoder. I asked for a quote and got a price of R490 rand. They said that they will send somebody to bring me a new decoder. I waited the whole day, half past seven at night the technician finally pitched up. WITH NO DECODER! I asked him why he did not bring a new decoder like I had asked. He answered that they had none in stock. He wanted to make sure that I needed a new decoder first. At that time I really felt frustrated because I knew that the decoder were faulty and not the dish installation. I let him check and he agreed that the decoder needed to be replaced. He said that he will bring a new decoder the following day, but needed a deposit. I gave him R300 and agreed on giving the rest when I receive the new decoder. The following day, I waited and waited. I finally phoned after 12, to find if the technician were successful in getting me a new decoder. He had a lot of excuses, but promised me that he will get one. After four I phoned again only to hear that I will have to wait until the 18th of April( after the lockdown) to get a decoder. I told the company that Pontuis Electronics in Randfontein were open and that they had decoders. The company told me that they only work with their suppliers. When I asked for my money back, so that I can go and get a new decoder myself, the owner told me that they are keeping the money for the "call out". I then told the owner how can they charge me money for literally doing nothing. It is the same if I got a flat tyrw and had no spare, where I then phone a garage for assistance, to bring me a spare. The garage pitches up with no spare tyre and then tell me after looking and me telling them that they eventually agree that I have a flat tyre. Now they bill me and want to charge me an additional R700 for a new decoder. After the quote? I would like to warn people to stay away from these crooks.

Today I wanted a third view so I called this Kevin guy who didn't explain to me properly how he charged and if I had the correct decoders when I called His installers came they hardly touched anything told me my decoders where old and they want their R400 for coming out here and when I've upgraded them I will call them but that wasn't what I was told through the phone this Kevin guy made it sound like it was all in order and am paying them for installing When I complained these poor guys gave me back the R100 back but it R300 for nothing because if he took the time out to ask me questions regarding my decoders we could of finished this over the phone But because he picked up I didn't know much he sent his workers to come get money ...is he even accredited with DStv because am shocked DStv associates itself with these people who robe people because they really don't know much about decoders I want him to be reported to the extent that he doesn't do it to others Andiswa Mabao

The so-called customer care is so hopeless and could resolve my problem with connectivity for more than 12hours. I have to call them a number of times and at times their refuse to let me speak to their team leader. I spent the minimum of 2hours and 33minutes, yet I remained offline

In the 6tharch I called DSTV installees in Kibler park to assist with LNB connection & 3 guys came in a polo, the one stayed in the car and two came out, vthey went on the roof and came and told me that I should get a new dish to have single view as I live in a cottage and share a satellite with my neighbour, so they suggested that they would rove the splitter And remove his connection it resolved the issue but my neighbour and they said if I had more issues they will return at no extra cost. To my surprise nothing was actually done and when I call or text them I get more stories. Please assist in shaming Kibler Park Installers (as they call themselves) they are fraudsters and ignore calls when they have to sort out a mess. Please advise if I can even open a case of fraud herein. All I have iavthe guys name & phone number which I made the cash send payment to.
