After an interview with EEgineering on Ontbyt sake with Dawie, I decided to do an investment from my pension to go on solar power, and to go off the grid. A total investment of about R200000 was made, of wich R168400 was paid for the solar system and instalation. This had to be paid on delivery of the equipment and when installed. First big mistake to trust them that it will work The system did not supply enough power, as it do not face North for a start after several mails and calls they send the technician to come and rectify it, (without my power demand list). without success this went on from July until end Desember, in this time I had several power trips on the system and could not be assisted by the Technicians, I was informed that I may not contact the technicians or the salasman Pieter who sold this system to me. December one of the Technicians who went on a course at Mecer and would have come back to solve my problem after they promised that it was goindg to be discussed at their Wednesday meeting, and that they will come back to me early January. They never came back to me after several calls and about 5 emails So instead of saving R5-6000 a month the E-Enginering solar system is still costing me R3-4000 per month. I would never recomend E-Engineering to any body, even if they are highly recomensded by Dawie as the salesman Pieter said (I dont think Dawie would like to be linked to them) and if you ever concidering solar power never pay more than 50% up front until it is working and be sure of after service, of wich there is nothing at E-Enginering

On the 2nd of September 2017, I paid a R10 000 deposit at the 2017 HomeMakers Expo to qualify for their show special (and now I see it was actually also their general advertised special price) until the 15th of December. On the 22nd of September, I informed them via e-mail (to ********** that my circumstances have changed and that I will no longer need their services and would like my deposit refunded (as nowhere was I informed that it was a non-refundable deposit). This e-mail was "read" but ignored. My next follow up e-mail was on 3 October and this was also "Read" and ignored. Another e-mail was sent by me on 18 October which was finally answered by an Anel Jacobs with e-mail address ********** stating that she have forwarded my refund request to the finance department. On 30 October I followed up again, but another e-mailed ignored by them. On 12 November I followed up again with another e-mail. On 15 November Anel replied and asked for my banking detail so that she can follow up as to why my refund was not done yet. I sent her my banking details that same day. On 22 November I sent another follow-up e-mail and this e-mail was "Read" but ignored. Another follow up e-mail by me was sent on 12 December. This was also "Read" but ignored. So it has been 3 months since I asked for a refund, but still they have not paid back my money and I now see this as THEFT! If you are in any way thinking of doing business with this thieving company, I suggest that you stay FAR FAR AWAY!

I saw the advert for E Engineering on Kyknet and also thought this is a trustworthy company. Our system was paid for on 25 AUG with the promise of Installation within two weeks. After a month I started to phone them to find out where in the process are we? We got our system about a month later only to find out we had to pay for the Installation of the Geyser ourselves - which was promised by the Agent ( Tiaan Neethling) will be part of installion. Then the system was installed incorrectly and the box is faulty and does not work. STILL - we are months along the line. I am so mad at ourselves for believing their empty promises and paying for a system that does NOT work! Anyone else considering them - stay far away - I am sure there are other more trustworthy companies out there that wants to do business and keep their Customers happy.

I have been trying to get my deposit back after I cancelled a purchase on 22 Aug 2017 . I have sent emails numerous times t. I've since been told that my request has been forwarded to finance department, its been 2 months that I've been waiting for feedback. when I call, I get a message that " my call cannot be taken at the moment". I mean how then to does one negotiate with the company and come to a settlement agreement if they do not respond to your emails and block your calls. Are you suggesting that I use platforms such as Hellopeter, claims court, magistrate court, hight court to actually communicate with you over my money ? It is clear you have very little regard for customers and effectively your growth as a company. I plead with senior management to assist me with this matter and lets settle the matter amicably please.

My system was installed in January 2017 and the worst installation ever! No fuses between batteries an d inverter, no surge arresters etc. In April I tried to contact because batteries was bad quality and did not work but nobody is willing to attend to problem. Appointments were made that Thinus will come out for 18 September and they never arrived. I am terribly disappointed in the company as I thought if they advertise on Kyknet it would be a trust worthy company. How can you trust a company that sells a product and then forget about it!

I have been trying to get my deposit back after I cancelled a purchase on 22 Aug 2017 . I have sent emails numerous times t. I have furnished E-Engineering with the documents that requested. I've since been told that my request has been forwarded to finance department, its been 2 months that I've been waiting for feedback. when I call, I get a message that " my call cannot be taken at the moment"., It can only mean that you have blocked my calls, i fact I have established that fact. I mean how then to does one negotiate with the company and come to a settlement agreement if they do not respond to your emails and block your calls. I practically cannot get hold of anyone in the company. Are you suggesting that I use platforms such as Hellopeter, claims court, magistrate court, high court to actually communicate with you over my money ? After responding to "Groot Ontbyt" ad, we had the system installed about 4 weeks ago. Ever since we have tried REPEATEDLY WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS to make contact or get help from the company. Our system DOES NOT WORK and unfortunately we paid the full amount up front after signing the order. We have sent emails and contacted several people repeatedly but hence no success. NOT ONCE has anyone come back to us. Why should they - they got their money. After some research on Melton van der Merwe and E-Engineering (which we probably should have done BEFORE we signed the order and payed R100,000) we got to know that many many many people have exactly the same issues. So, we are stuck with a system that does not work and no indication at all that anyone from the company are willing to help us. Is this not fraud and/or theft? It also seems like G Carbon and GC International has either been previous companies of the same person(s) or are linked in some way. It seems like something Carte Blanche would be interested in if I look at all the issues of MANY people and all the losses involved. I am willing to give E-Engineering ONE week to get into contact with me to fix our system or we will surely add our voices to many other by taking this matter to the National Consumers Commission, Carte Blanche, social media, etc. I have NEVER experienced anything like this before - it cannot even be called bad service, since there are NO service! How is it possible that companies get away with this for so long? I know they have even recently been part of the Home Expo at the Waterfront, Cape Town. How many more people and complaints before something changes? Where has integrity and honesty gone?
