As a parent who shelled out R325 for a full-year membership thinking it would give my children everything needed to succeed, especially with those looming November exams, I am absolutely furious. E-Classroom markets itself as this comprehensive online learning haven for South African students, but it's nothing more than a bait-and-switch **** dressed up in educational jargon. You pay up front for what they call "unlimited access" to worksheets, memos, and resources, only to discover that all the truly essential stuff—the meat and potatoes for end-of-year prep—is locked behind additional paywalls. It's like buying a car and then finding out the engine is an "added extra" you have to fork over more cash for. Unbelievable! Let's start with the membership itself. For that R325 (or whatever inflated price they're charging now), you get a bunch of basic worksheets that feel like they were slapped together by someone who skimmed the CAPS curriculum five minutes before uploading. For the money spent, you'd expect polished, in-depth materials that actually help build understanding—not these half-baked printouts that look like freebies from a decade ago. We've wasted hours trying to make sense of sections, only to end up supplementing with YouTube videos and actual textbooks. What a joke for "premium" content! But the real kicker? Those all-important end-of-year study preparations for the November exams. E-Classroom teases you with promises of exam prep, but when you dig in, you realize every single past paper, model exam, or targeted revision pack is classified as an "added extra." You have to pay extra in-app for each one—sometimes R50 to R80 a pop! How is that fair? I bought the membership specifically for exam season, thinking it would cover everything from term reviews to full mock tests. Instead, it's a nickel-and-dime operation that withholds the key tools you need right when stakes are highest. Ive left scrambling in October, stressed out because the "included" resources barely scratched the surface of what shows up in real exams. If you're prepping for Novembers, don't bother; this platform is designed to squeeze every last rand out of desperate parents. Honestly, E-Classroom feels like a predatory business model preying on families who just want to support their kids' education. The interface is clunky, customer support is like pulling teeth, someone behind the phone sounded absolutley bored to death and not really interested, and the whole experience leaves you feeling cheated. Save your money and go for free resources on sites like the DBE website or even Khan Academy—they're more comprehensive without the hidden fees. I give E-Classroom 1 star out of 5, and that's being generous. Avoid at all costs!

I purchased grade 4 and 5. I logged in and downloaded what i needed at the time. I logged in now and grade 4 has disappeared and grade 6 has appeared. I added grade 4 back but cannot access everything without having to pay an additional fee. I am not happy, switch it back or refund me my money!

I had a terrible experience with e-Siyakhokha. They were extremely dishonest, constantly asking for deposits, and even restricting my account, which had over R255,000. I tried reaching out to their customer service, but they were unhelpful and refused to resolve the issue. Thankfully, I got in touch with Mrs. Faina, who took my case seriously. She helped restore my account, and I was able to withdraw everything. I’m now completely done with e-Siyakhokha and would advise others to stay away from them. If you’re in a similar situation, I recommend contacting Mrs. Faina directly at FAINASECURETEAM ___ ((@)) g_ma__" il,___c0__m.

Do not make use of E Classroom's worksheets. I have paid in February and they have lock me out since April. I have emailed them several times, also send them proof of payment, but with no luck. They do no deliver. They don't give any assistance or help. They have stolen my money. Be warned. Do not use them.

It is a shame that you have not allowed teachers or students to access this portal for free at the time of this crisis - the Covid-19 epidemic or specifically to the students of South Africa. No one should pay for resources that have been taken out of a textbook and made into a worksheet. Also, being a teacher I have noticed that some of the content and information on the worksheets provided are incorrect and needs to be thoroughly checked before uploading. Spelling, grammar and concepts a like. As this is a poor refection on our Education system. This platform is not regulated correctly and some people are making a lot of money through this website at the expense of incorrect or poor content. Please think about what you goal with e-classroom is actually and implement the necessary changes. New teachers take your incorrect information and teach it to their learners because they think by buying content it is ALL correct! We are encouraged not to use e-classroom and if we do send it in for approval our HODs pick up numerous amounts of errors that needs correcting. Therefore, the bought resource is unhelpful as we have to retype most of the worksheet with the corrections. Something that is supposed to be saving us time is actually creating more work for us. Also, parents that can afford to pay for this platform want to argue content when in actual fact it is your content that is incorrect. In this time especially information and education platforms need to be fair and concise. Please check and correct the worksheets and content that is uploaded! Thank you.

I registered for E-Classroom which I believe is a good platfom. I am struggling to get worksheet for certain topics (rates, exchange rates, percentages, simple interest, hire purchase) for a Grade 8 learner. I then sent an online email to them for help. I then received a call from a lady who did not assist me but keeps on telling me the mistake I make in my search. I told her that for Grade 8 i checked the topic but cannot find it her answer is that if it is not there then they do not have it. I then asked her to check on my behalf incase I am missing something. Instead of giving me an answer she resorts to being defensive. The subscription is very reasonable but it is not worth it if I will be contacted by someone who chooses to be rude to me. If they do not assist people to show them where they can get the work then they should tell me as a client instead of the lady being rude. I am very furious and my day has been spoiled. She keeps on telling me that I am looking in the wrong place, Grade 10 but I checked on the search button and it could only pick up Grade 10. The thing is, even if I checked on the wrong place, surely their support service should be able to asssist and tell us where we can get the correct information.

Gravely disappointed in the online resources. It's poor in quality: black-and-white boring old-school fashioned textbook resource layouts, claiming to be "e-notes" It's a shame selling subscriptions for this stuff. I want a refund. No innovation or creativity here.
