Good day My name is Stephen Charles Mohosane, I was a student at ewc tvet college at kempton park during 2020/2021 period, I was doing engineering never level 2 and I was funded by TRC under Justice ⚖️ . I was supposed to be given a laptop money, accommodation, meals and transport money of which I didn't get it was a story after another every day by both fiance team and Nefas (SSS), I was always communicating with Angela and *****gwa from the college okay fast forward last year around August I got an sms from the college telling me that I must come claim my funds of which I did that but I didn't get help but attitude, this year on the day schools were opening i went there again yet again I didn't get help but attitude again and I left and went back again on the 17th of February and I begged them to help me and yes Mpumelelo helped me then I left, after a month they called me to tell me that the forms that I was filling were outdated and gave me the new ones, I went out to borrow money so I can send them back, but still they were asking for documents one at a time each and every after 2weeks, asked for affidavit, id copy, death certificates but still I haven't got the funds. The people that i was communicating with are: infor@ewc.edu.za principal@ewc.edu.za / kwalabotsengm@ewc.edu.za / dulsym@ewc.edu.za /vincentt@ewc.edu.za and angelama@ewc.edu.za But till this day I haven't got my funds, so can you guys intervene please 🙏 Your help is much needed. Thank you for your time

The service at this school is terrible, it seems like no one takes anyone seriously. No respect whatsoever. I paid for my son's tuition at the beginning of the trimester for full time and then the office wanted more money by saying full time is full as a way to get more money from me, I paid the difference as I needed my son to pursue what he wants to pursue, I followed by calling head office which advised that the full time is not full, Germiston campus must put my son back to full time and the difference to be paid back to me. Financed requested proof of payment, my ID and my proof of account, I waited for over 3 weeks and followed up. Sasa from Financed advised refund should not take that long and she will call me back once she has spoken to Frans who is responsible for refunds, no call from her and my calls remain unanswered. I emailed and corresponded with Phanuel who seemed helpful, however today I am told I need to go to the campus to follow up in person. I do not stay in Germiston neither am I willing to drive for an hour, pour fuel, take time of just because the facility is holding my funds. Make all this make sense. To parents with kids considering EWC, do not bother, the disrespect from that facility and lack of accountability is too much and other thing that i am not here for today but ask students that went to that school. Unfortunately, my son has already started, and he seems to want to complete, and I do not want to take him out and inconvenience his career path.

I am emotionally distressed due to the poor online service of Ekurhuleni West College. Despite repeated attempts, I have been unable to submit my online application as the system consistently fails to process it. I have sought assistance through the college's online inquiry platform and received a response from Mr. Clement Chauke, but unfortunately, he was unable to assist me. Numerous follow-up attempts have yielded no results, and with the application deadline looming on June 9, 2024, I am still unable to complete my application due to the dysfunctional online system. I have created a profile and completed the online test, but the system error has prevented me from proceeding further. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by the lack of support from the college."

I am writing to you with great concern about a critical issue that is impacting my employment and financial stability. My name is Jabulane Manana, and I recently secured a job as a driver. The job was set to commence on March 1st. However, due to a missing qualifications document, I had to request a certificate reprint from my institution, EWC. I followed all the instructions for the reprint and promptly paid the required fees. The challenge I am facing now is the complete lack of communication from EWC regarding the status of the reprint. It has been five weeks since I made the request, and despite my numerous attempts to contact them, including calls to the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), there has been no response. This situation is putting my job at risk, and given the economic difficulties we are currently experiencing, it is incredibly distressing. I urgently appeal to you for assistance in fast-tracking the process of obtaining my qualifications certificate. Your intervention could make a significant difference in ensuring that I retain my job and continue to support myself and my family during these challenging times. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your prompt response and support.

I have a nephew who goes to school at Ekurhuleni West College. He went to the offices to get his academic record printed out and they told him they don't have papers to print it out. And he is taking it upon himself to look for papers to take to the school to get his academic record printed out. How does that even make sense, are you telling me the whole school doesn't have papers for printing. And this is not the first time something like this has happened, that school is always sending him from pillar to post when he asks for help. This is something that needs to be looked at, this is not professional. Now he has to go home to take those papers, come back tomorrow and print it out, this is something he should have done today. He has to spent money he doesn't have just to go back to print out.
