I recently dined at ate at elephant and co and had an amazing experience! The service was top-notch and our server was super friendly. The food was 🔥 the portions were generous. Would definitely come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was really disappointed with my experience as I took a picture and short video of the bar section, as many other people were taking pictures in the restaurant, yet my group and I was approached and told not to take pictures of staff and customers. I understand that and we did tell the person that we were going to block faces. The restaurant and drinks looked good and we wanted to post them to show others. I did feel he was not polite about it and we did not feel welcome and felt watched. We had already ordered drinks and decided that we'd have them and dine else where. I will not return to Elephant and co. Don't single out people, that is unfair.

I visited this establishment on 06.01.2026. Worst experience ever. The manager had a terrible attitude and poor customer care. I won't be going back there anytime soon

The most disgusting service. My son and his girlfriend were excited in celebrating their 2 year anniversary so decided to visit Elephant & Co Pavilion. They were well dressed, respectful 16 year olds trying to enjoy this special occassion. After being seated, having already order drinks and meal, manager then decides to harass my son. Advising him that that he had to wear long trousers. My son had been their before with family wearing similar clothing with no problem. He then said that in future they need to book even though restaurant was dead quiet. Will never visit or recommend this restaurant to anyone. Food very average, nothing special. Think twice before visiting this restaurant, you might not look the part!

Elephant & Co promises to transport you on a culinary adventure, through the vast plains of Africa to the tangled jungles of Asia with their take on Afro-Asian dishes - Boy oh boy they truly deliver! We visited Elephant & Co to celebrate Galentine's with my wonderful friend, and I can't emphasize enough how incredible the experience was. The restaurant boasts a fantastic ambiance with a visually pleasing setting. The food was simply delicious, and the service from both the waitstaff (Andile) and management was impeccable —honestly, I can't find a single flaw. They say Elephants never forget and I can confidently say that our experience at Elephant & Co was definitely UNFORGETTABLE! #SharetheLoveMzansi

It was my husbands birthday so we decided to try out Elephant & co at Pavilion Westville. When we got there, the staff informed us that they are not a children friendly restaurant so there is no baby chair for my 7month old and no menu for my 4year old. Then the guy tells us that he cannot give us a cushioned seat due to us having kids because we can leave the baby to sleep on the cushion which we could never do in the first place because the seat wouldn't be comfortable and the baby could fall, we didn't see the logic. We still decided to stay to try out the food because our 7month old can be on our lap or arms if asleep we didn't find it a problem. After motivating that we not using the cushioned seats to leave our kids to lounge on, we get the desired seat. while awaiting the arrival of our meals, the staff are over our heads, watching us like hawks to see that we do not use their seats for the kids so it does not get messed or damaged, we were also warned that my 4year old must not put her feet on the cushions even though she was not disruptive or mishandled their property. When our food arrived, with a baby on my lap I mistakenly dropped my fork which hit my leg and fell to the floor, the staff came running to me checking the cushioned seat to see if I hadn't messed it. I did explain it fell on myself she asked me rudely to pick it up from the floor which I was already doing. They were extremely rude, unfriendly, unpleasant, with no customer ethics. We felt extremely uncomfortable and regretted staying to try out their food even though we had a mouth full about having our kids with us before we were even seated. The food was tasteless, one was overdone with cold mash and the other was underdone with extremely hot chips. Worst restaurant I've been to and certainly will not be returning with or without my kids.

I booked last Wednesday for 14 people for 3:30pm on Sunday for the 4-6pm Every Sunday specials. I asked the waitress if the sushi platters were included and which wines. After a short while she confirmed. When I was about to order just before 4pm, she stated that the special.is now for 5pm. I spije to management regarding as to why they didn't inform us, his response was thst he didn't what we were to order. He refused to give us the special as advertised prior to the day, so we all left. Also, it's the same owner as Olive & Oil which is next door. To me its a lack of transparency and integrity. I do have a screenshot of the specials that show its for every Sunday with the times, so if we ordered as per normal without confirming with the waitress we would have paid the normal price. Management said that they couldn't change the price on the system which as I consider is nonsense. There was no intention of rectifying the matter nor doing the right thing! So, I will not be returning there nor to Olive & Oul. We spent R4500 elsewhere as a result

Neva going bk again,Management are Rude and lack Customer Service.Visted this Place so we Complained that the food was off and we where told that we half way with the Meal we should have noticed that when we started their is nothing that they do.We can do wateva we want.We ended paying for all the meals and left the Food behind
