Selling faulty invertors and refusing to fix it or return money back.
We bought Kool Energy Trolley Inverters in January 2023, on 23 February 2023, the inverter was not working. Elite acknowledge that the inverter was faulty. They collect the inverted in in the first week of March 2023. The inverter was returned to us after numerous follow-up on 3 May 2023. On 30 May 2023, we reported that the inverter was not working and till today, they have ignored us and refused to give us our money back. We did not use the inverter at all and I believe they took advantage of us because at that time there was loadshedding. The least that they could have done is return our money back because they knew that the inverter was faulty.

Empty promises and poor service
If you are wanting a working system and good service then these are NOT this is not the business to use. From the moment that i paid the deposit, there have been excuses and delays. The installation was delayed by more than 2 weeks and many a phone call. The one battery stopped working shortly after the installation. 4 months later, and i am still waiting for them to sort the issue out. Messages and phone calls are ignored.

Empty promises and poor service
If you are wanting a working system and good service then these are NOT this is not the business to use. From the moment that i paid the deposit, there have been excuses and delays. The installation was delayed by more than 2 weeks and many a phone call. The one battery stopped working shortly after the installation. 4 months later, and i am still waiting for them to sort the issue out. Messages and phone calls are ignored.

Only promises, stay clear of company.
I've walked a long road with Sheldon and Elite Renewable Solutions, which unfortunately wasn't a great experience. Yes, his installation was well done and he did notify me regarding tampering happening with my installation by intruders while being on holiday as well as subsequently fixing it. My problem with Sheldon is that he hasn't delivered my SSEG and COC certifications, which is required by City of Cape Town as well as SARS for claiming for installed solar systems. He has made only promises regarding getting this done with no action taken at all. Reading other reviews it seems like I'm not the only one struggling with this company and will have to hand the issue over to a lawyer now for further actions.

I would never recommend anyone to do business with them. I Paid for a 10kw Sunsynk System in March 2024 to be installed with panels and Batteries. To date I have still not received the instelation that I paid for. Sheldon has no business ethics and always has some sort of excuse. BE AWARE. DO NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENTS TO HIM. it is now nearly 8 Months after payment and we are still struggling. We cancelled, still no refund. Reported to SAPS 132/10/2024. Do not use them. I urge others who have been done in to report this to authorities. Report this on all social media platforms, don't let Sheldon and his company get away taking trusting clients money and not delivering or refunding!

An update on my prior review of Elite Renewable Solutions. We paid a deposit of R600 000, Date was set for installation. Dates were changed. Run around, 'story' after 'story'. We cancelled, still no refund. Reported to SAPS 132/10/2024. Do not use them. I urge others who have been done in to report this to authorities. Report this on all social media platforms, don't let Sheldon and his company get away taking trusting clients money and not delivering or refunding!

Totally disgusted and outraged!!!
So, I paid deposit of R25000 on the 09 August 2024, to do a small upgrade of 8 panels and a extra battery to my system. Since then, have been given the run around. They have given me so many dates that they were supposed to be there, but never pitched up. I finally got fed up, and requested a refund from them on the 11 October 2024, so that I can get someone else to do this work for me, and now they are full of stories about signal, and can't log into there bank account to do the refund bull**** stories. They did my original installation, but I bought the equipment, and never paid any money as a deposit(oh, and I am still waiting for my COC on this work, that I have asked them for many times). So after the original installation, had faith in them, and was willing to pay a deposit. I would not recommend anyone to use if you are paying a deposit upfront. If they come and do the work, and you pay them, then there workmanship is good. But there business ethics are non existing. They do not answer my calls, when I try and phone Sheldon, or when I send Whatsapps, giving me the impression that they have no intention of paying me my refund, and in lamen terms, basically stole my money!

Future purchaser beware!!
What a huge disappointment. Paid a deposit in June 2024, set up an istallation date for September, and then just excuse upon excuse. No installation after many reschedules, We eventually cancelled 23 September and still waiting for my refund. No communications are being answered and no date is given for the refund - still waiting. SAPS Dockets will be opened. Any future buyer beware. Will post update here of SAPS Docket numbers and charges.
