Very disappointed. I ordered online 13/01/2026 and arrived fast in South Africa, but my package I still have not received been now a month and few days, as EMS courier are handling my parcel but received no updates and when I email or call to the information given, I receive no response. Last status update on 17track and Universal parcel it showed on the 28/01/2026 "Leaving the sorting centre on the way" and changed last week (18/02/2026)when I checked to "Not found waiting on carriers to update" .I have tried all options but seem to have no luck. If I had the option to choose another courier company I would, as shipper chose this option and also not responding to my emails. Now not knowing where my package is and not getting answers.

Seeing that the Post Office wont really bother to respond, I can merely warn others at this point :) We ordered something from Texas using the USPS service, Priority Mail Express International service, which is supposed to be delivered within 3-5 business days - we literally paid R1330 for this delivery. Only to be told we would likely only receive it within 30 days, regardless of the Expedited EMS service involved. Avoid USPS, since that basically just relies on a broken South African postal service

Bogus, dishonest and ******ion. Companies in Japan, Netherlands and Germany sold me expensive sniiing through EMS. EMS South Africa do NOT deliver. They make a dishonest statement of “attempted delivery “ which is an outright lie (I can prove I was home ALL day. Instead they’ve dropped the package at some arbitrary post off ice somewhere without informing me. Will inform EMS, Amazon and Discogs.com that EMS South Africa is a sham and do NOT deliver packages. I e lost a lot of money paid for goods I will never receive for shipping that never happened.

I spoke with a lady at the South African Post Office- Pinetown Durban branch about my parcel that needed to be couriered as a priority mail. She advised that if I used the EMS service, that my parcel will be delivered in 2 weeks. The parcel was handed over to SAPO on the 29th of March 2023. It is now the 28th of April 2023 and it still has not left SA. I paid R500.00 for this nonexistent service. Please advise on how I can take this further. The item being posted is a tissue sample and I am greatly concerned for its validity.

DO NOT use this company for any courier services. They take your money and do not deliver and their staff is incompetent and not helpful at all. They give your a tracking number, but then they can not track your parcel. There customer careline is helpless.

I asked my mother from Japan to send some documents I needed to apply for a visa for my spouse and child. The point was that I needed it fast, I expected to get it within 5 days and it took over a month! I was tracking it the whole time, it seemed to get stuck once it arrived in the country for about 2 weeks. In the end it said delivered when it was not delivered to me. Took a while after some phone calls to find out which post office it was at and I had to go pick it up myself. Will not ever use them again.
