I purchased the Metro Highback chair in January 2023. Last month, I started experiencing challenges with the chair. I had to constantly keep adjusting the height due to loss of pressure in the cylinder. I had lost the proof of purchase when I deleted old emails last year but I saw online that the chair came with a 7 yr guarantee. So, I wrote to Liza Viljoen to explain my frustration with the chair and the fact that I am unable to provide proof of purchase since I no longer have access to old emails and I also changed banks. I sent pictures of the chair and my residential address with the hope that they could use them to verify the sale. Liza pulled up the invoice and confirmed that the chair was still under guarantee. A week later, Liza arranged through one of her colleagues, Lenette Budler, for my chair to be collected and delivered a demo chair for my use while the chair was being repaired. I was aware that my chair had damage on the capping of one of the armrests and Liza confirmed that the guarantee covered the cappings as well. Unbeknownst to me, the backrest also had wear and tear damage that is not covered by the guarantee. I could not afford the quoted cost of the replacement and requested that only proceed with the repairs covered by the guarantee. A week later, I was notified that my chair was ready for dispatch as soon as I paid the delivery fee. I received my chair earlier today, 18 May 2026, less than a month after my initial correspondence with Liza. I am extremely impressed by the the quality of the after sale service, especially since the lack of evidentiary proof of purchase could have easily been used against me. If I could give this business a hundred stars out of five, I would. It is incredibly refreshing to to deal with a business that not only provides a great product, but that cares for their customers long after a product has been sold to them. I own three Ergotherapy chairs and experienced a minor issue with one chair, two years after purchasing the chair. From date of my first interaction with this business, I was met with kind, helpful and professional individuals whose priority it was to sort out the issue I experienced. They dealt with my problem in the most professional manner, and efficiently at that, and without levying any additional charge. This business will have a life-long customer in me, not only for the fantastic product, but for their excellent after-sales service. Thank you!!!

I bought their electric standing desk, largest size they have and I am impressed with the quality. The service was also amazing, I took it upon myself to visit the store just to get an idea of what I would be buying. I got assisted by Tracey, amazing lady, explained everything to me and also helped me pick the best positions to setup the table. I ordered there table, they were quick to dispatch and also their awesome delivery team setup the table for me before they left. A few months later I am still impressed by the quality of this desk.

I battled for about a year with the incorrect chair that broke my back. I have searched all chair sellers. None of them provide the quality and ergonomics that this company does. Do not waste your time an effort checking out other places... Go in and buy one and save your back and neck !

Firstly I want to say I am EXTREMELY happy with their products (I have a NetOne Highback chair and it is absolutely amazing). My seat-base was a little worse for wear and simply by sending my original invoice and my home details, Liza sorted out a new base as well as a technician to install it at my home. All of this - still under warranty. They are a friendly, fast, and absolutely amazing company with great products worth supporting. I am definitely getting some more ergonomic goodies for my home office. I could not recommend them and their products enough.

It's not often nowadays that one is pleasantly surprised by exceptional customer service. Ergotherapy went above and beyond my expectations and I'd highly recommend them. My situation is that I have back problems. Not too serious but bad enough that I thought it was worth the investment to get a proper chair - let's face it - these are not your run of the mill chairs. I received the chair I ordered. Exceptional quality. The problem was that it just didn't work for me. I didn't get the level of comfort that I was expecting. I was going for gold and got silver. :-) I made contact with the customer service team and without hesitation, they offered to check the chair. They even made adjustments but after continuous use, it still just wasn't working for me. I think this is caused more by me (dodgy back) than the chair.... but the team at Ergotherapy didn't stop there. They invited me to their office to meet with a physio and allowed me the time to try all the different chairs until I found one that better suited me. I landed up preferring a completely different model to the one I had originally ordered. Again, no problems in sorting it out. Just easy. A special thank you to Tracey, Liza and Gary.
