I sent my Personal Aide courier a parcel to Polokwane at Postnet in Wonderpark Mall on Thursday, 13 June. The parcel(PNA66576024412) was checked in before 11h00. I opted for overnight courier because I wanted the parcel to reach Polokwane before the weekend since the delivery address is a College Library that does not operate on weekends, making delivery on Saturday impossible. I was assured that the parcel will be delivered before 12h00 on Friday, 14 June and it was on that basis that I proceeded to pay R450 for overnight courier. The parcel was only delivered on Tuesday,18 June, after 12h00 I did not receive the service I paid for. As of today, 19 June 2024, Postnet has not responded to the complaint I sent via email on 15 June.
I have been using their service for over a year. On 26 February I sent my navy suit for dry cleaning and was pleasantly surprised when the suit came back looking brand new. I had to check the label of the suit to ascertain they had not swapped suits. The ticket number allocated to my suit was 292. I don't know why they did not clean and press the suits the same way on previous occasions.
O ordered and paid for a Rain data sim on a R479 PM plan and paid for it as required.. My reference is RAIN-040 038 0569. My sim card was delivered on 20 Nov 2020 via RAm courier services. I have not had a single day use of the sfrom 20 Nov to 05 FDec 2020 Rain has mo call centre where one can make an enquiry about the network.connectoon and emails to support@ rain.co.sa returns an auto reply that points to a link that is not useful at all. Below is an excerpt from my correspondence with Shaw Academy to which there was no response even after 3 emails: "I wrote to you indicating that none of the resources you claim to have provided to me were ever delivered to me or accessible AT ANY STAGE. Allen and whoever else is in your support team simply ignored my last email indicating that you have not delivered on your promise. Today, 25 April 2020, I received notification from my bank as follows: Amount; R399 Your Reference: SHAW A* SHAW ACADEMY S +35316854354 It is clear that the Shaw Academy reference number is the same used for the previous transaction. THIS AFTER I HAD EXPRESSLY INSTRUCTED YOU ON 28 MARCH 2020 NOT TO EFFECT ANY MORE DEDUCTIONS AGAINST MY BANK ACCOUNT! Here is an extract from my mail above: " Please desist from making any further deductions from the account details I provided you on a zero billing basis in order to access your free training. This is an unscrupulous contracting model and represents all that is abhorrent about companies like yours. " Now this is what needs to happen: 1. SHAW ACADEMY to IMMEDIATELY refund the full R800,00,deducted without authorization. Please note that I have lost all confidence in your organization and am not willing to entertain any solution that does not include the full refund of R800,00. In the likely event that you ignore this correspondence as you did my last two emails (dated 4 April 2020 and 9 April 2020), please be assured that I will carry out a sustained media, legal and advocacy campaign against your organization whereever it has a footprint. I will sponsor adverts on FB, Twitter, LinkedIn and will share my experience with anyone willing to listen to my story. At the very least, I will respond to every advert you post with the full text of this email and let the public judge for themselves.
