My complaint in UPPER CASE, their response in lower case
In this instance, as transport was arranged independently, we kindly request any available records confirming that the product was handled and transported under regulated temperature conditions. I ASKED FOR YOU TO DELIVER AND YOU SAID YOU ONLY DELIVER IN THE WEST CAPE. YOU KNEW I WAS SENDING MY COURIER. YOU DID NOT ADVISE ME THAT A STANDARD COURIER WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DO THIS SHIPMENT. AS THE MEAT PROFESSIONALS THIS WAS ESSENTIAL, AND WE SHOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT FROM WEST CAPE AT ALL IF YOU HAS ADVISED. Additionally, the product was prepared fresh in accordance with your request and dispatched immediately following the drying process. As we are not a biltong wholesaler, our packaging reflects standard retail conditions. No specific instructions were received regarding vacuum sealing, modified packaging, or the inclusion of desiccants. LOOSE IN SLEEVES, MEAT SLIPPED OUT. AGAIN, YOU ARE THE PROFESSIONALS- NOT ACCEPTABLE

Perfect perfect perfect
I've always been a loyal client of fairfields for probably a good 10 years. Recently we have moved to the strand in cape town and so I thought I'll use the app and have it delivered to my door. WELL.......... THANK YOU SO MUCH YOUR SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING YOUR MEAT IS AMAZING AND EVERYTHING I ASKED FOR SIZES AND CUTS ARE AS PERFECT AS I WANTED IT. I will most definitely use them every month for a delivery from now on. We'll done and thank you.

Not as good as the advert.
Fairfield meat Centre Parow, they advertise on TikTok topside biltong meat for R99.95/kg. On TikTok they show how they cut a nice piece of topside but they cut the meat in the back of the shop, pack it in a plastic bag, I bought 4kg and of that approximately 1.2kg is tendon. I review on that TikTok advert (twice) and because of a negative review they filter it out so that the public can't see it.

I really wish we had option to add pics!!!!!! No i can say Fairfield meat market parow you guys are doing a good job on making yourselves workers whatever that lady was a good ****mer!!!!! I went to buy some meat and was pushed to buying a half lamb which was kept aside for a "special client" people please read and take note they will say a special client but wow what *** i got for R1000 im 100% sure you can get loads and much more for this amount for what we got on this so called deal..... guys rather not take what they offer you at rhe counter pre packed let them cut you what you want... FAIRFIELD you will not see me again ill support the s****py so called commercialized companies caus oh no!!!!! Not again I spent R4000 at this store and thats the most they will get from me again... slm

Disappointing Experience with No Follow-up
I recently placed an online order with Fairfield Butcher for their R129 oxtail pack, expecting a decent quality product. Unfortunately, what I received was far from acceptable — just three bones with very little actual meat, mostly fat and sinew. It was disappointing and not at all worth the price. I took the time to email my complaint along with pictures to show the poor quality of the product, hoping for at least a response or resolution. To date, no one has responded. The lack of communication and accountability has left me very dissatisfied. I was hoping to support a local butcher and perhaps become a repeat customer, but based on this experience, I won't be ordering again unless there's a clear improvement in both product quality and customer service.

Bad Service
We bought sausage at fairfield meat Express in ottery when we made they sausage it was off and they refuse to take it back the man who works there was so rude yes you can expose us it doesn't matter this is very bad for business
