New Samsung phone gave problem after 3 months. We returned phone to Takealot. We sent in again and they are again returning without fixing. We can only get to speak to lowest level consultant. Impossible to get this escalated to supervisor. Been going on for THREE MONTHS and still no working phone. They do not respond to emails- there is no email address to send to
Bought Samsung 21 cellphone online November. Delivered in sealed box, once opened revealed phone only, no charger or cable. We have from previous phones so thought nothing of it. Phone became faulty & unusable in February and we started the online process to return for repair or replace. When we tried to follow up we found no contact details to send email, were forced to use the call centre. When asking consultants why nothing being done 3 weeks later the answer was that the phone had been returned to them with no cable. I said to not worry about the cable, we did not receive one so did not supply one, and did not expect them to supply a cable back to us at this stage. We simply could not get ANY of the consultants that we called to move this forward and the phone still sits there weeks later. From more than a week ago we have been trying to get it escalated. When I asked to be put through to a manager was put on hold for 25 minutes and then gave up. I called back and had to go through the whole rigmarole of explain again (each time we called) and asked that they get a manager to call me. I have tried that 3 times with no joy. So we are stuck without an expensive phone and extreme annoyance at pathetic service.
Send them details of long life milk that went sour after 1 day in cold fridge (no load shedding) have resent mail twice without response to 'help@sixty60.co.za' are they not interested in dealing with complaints?
Order ref # 000017410. I twice checked in advance if they would be capable of importing the electric razor (built-in battery) that I wanted and they confirmed they could. Order confirmed 15 March. It is now 5 May. They kept promising me dates in April each time I mailed them. When I asked if there was problem with flight & batteries they re-confirmed was already at OR Tambo in JNB in MARCH!! How can it take 5 weeks to clear from local airport- I do not believe that the item is in SA I have asked for absolute confirmation but they will not give it to me If it is not here I need to get my money back from them (around R5300)
Recently installed solar pool warmer. 10 year warranty. System working. PVC pipes running up to the roof , joins are leaking. They claim this does not fall under warranty. I say it all forms part of installation (which was not cheap!) I cannot believe they not prepared to come out & seal the leaks with silicone or whatever they know to work best

I was involved in an insident on the N1 south between beyers Naude offramp and 14th Avenue offramp a month or so ago on a Saturday, where my car hit a grid that had fallen off a truck and my right wheel and brake fluid pipe were damaged. I contacted Outsurance and was assisted by L'zeri who guided me through the process to follow and as I was initially having difficulty getting someone to come and collect me, she insisted on staying on the phone reassuring me. After the initial episode L'zeri regularly kept in contact giving me progress on the situation with my vehicle till it arrived at Panel Beaters. I also was having problems with same Panel Beaters promising me my vehicle was ready one day but retracting next day, so I contacted L'zeri again and with her intervention finally got my vehicle back. She has been awesome

Vodacom rip-off - my friendly warning to you

I am way overdue for a "free" upgrade for my tablet. Turns out that there is a charge- for 2 more years I pay additional for the new instrument. This is certainly NOT FREE
My Tablet is close to 5 years old so I decided to go ahead with a new one anyway.

Guy brings out a new Tablet, Vodacom brand. I ask if he does not have Samsung. Yes, but a lot more expensive
So I say OK lets try the Vodacom one. Sign papers activate device.
Set up e-mails to download. 1st thing I notice is that it is downloading all attachments even the huge ones.
I pointed this out and asked where the setting was to instruct to limit size of download to 50 or 100kb. They could not find it. It does not exist.
I said that this is an essential setting on any device to have choice of whether to download/ view attachments

We go through > 40GB a month just on our main mail computer. Can you imagine what the data cost would be for me on my new Tablet- I tremble to think- R1000s of Rands a month

Many people who go for this upgrade will not be aware of what huge cost increase they would face changing from Samsung. Vodacom know about this but will not inform you

The guy was very reluctant to cancel the deal (and his commission). Finally agreed, reluctantly and sulkily
