Not as good as the advert.
Fairfield meat Centre Parow, they advertise on TikTok topside biltong meat for R99.95/kg. On TikTok they show how they cut a nice piece of topside but they cut the meat in the back of the shop, pack it in a plastic bag, I bought 4kg and of that approximately 1.2kg is tendon. I review on that TikTok advert (twice) and because of a negative review they filter it out so that the public can't see it.

I've received my parcel from snatcher today 25/04/2024 and I'm very disappointed with the kettle I've ordered the description on their website indicate that it's a 2.7 liter but it take only 1.6 liter.

Mistake to use them
To buy something from Cape appliances Montaque gardens I would give them 4 stars. But for repairs to an appliance, it will be the biggest mistake you can make, first they ask for R650 upfront as the workshop manager (Selwyn) said it's for labor cost, then he give you an quotation, the next day they come with another quotation which you must EFT the outstanding amount before they can work on the freezer. This was for a 110 lit chest freezer the total amount was R2000.00, I could buy the same Univa freezer (new) at HiFI corp for R2450.00

It was always good to buy some of my frozen foods The Emporium, 10 Sandown Rd, but lately their prices are ridiculous, one example, Large pizza bases price was always R17 for 3 with in one month the price rise to R22 and now its's R29 and that is in one month only

Takealot absolutely the way to go for online shopping. I bought a inverter for R5899 delivery included, some online businesses are cheaper R5500 and if you order from them then they include vat and delivery the price is then R5800 and if you not happy with it and want to send it back you will pay delivery and there will always be problems why you send it back, with Takealot this is not the case they got a hassle-free exchange or refund policy.

Ridiculous Blaire service
Absolutely ridiculous service from this South African online supplier. I ordered an item from them +- 2 weeks ago, on their web page there are a tracking system in place which I've tried to track my parcel and the message I get is (There are no order statuses for tracking number: 2820) which I contacted them 3 times with no response what so ever.

Floor Tiles
Malls Tiles Paarden Eiland excellent service and reasonable prices. I've bought only 4m2 tiles and it was no problem for the sales person to go out of his way to help me. Some other Tile shops is not this helpful if they know you need only 4m2 tiles.

A rip-off
I took my I10 Hyundai in for a water leak they did a pressure test, the day after they let me know that they have to remove the engine or part of the engine to do a diagnostic to see what is wrong for a amount of R 4000+ and as per there experience it can cost any thing between R16,000 and a ridiculous amount to do the repairs. I took the car to a automotive repairs in Montaque Gardens they did a pressure test, they discovered a burst rubber pipe and a small part on the engine which was defective and repaired it for R 4000.
