The people at Finfloor is definitely a bunch of ****mers. Paul Diedericks their Warehouse Manager instructed me to use JC Home Improvements for the flooring installation at my home on the premise that if I don't use JC Home Improvements, I will not be able to buy from Finfloor and I will not get a 20-year Supplier Warranty. I am quite certain Paul works in cahoots with Jason Wright of JC Home Improvements because he instructed me twice to use JC Home Improvements. I'm quite sure the reason for this is because he is getting kickbacks for jobs that he arranges from people calling in enquiring about buying and installing flooring. JC Home Improvements who are supposed to be an authorized distributor and accredited installer to Finfloor sold me floor that was never supposed to have been installed on top of my original parquet flooring and also installed the floor in a very poor and unfinished state. I have reached out several times to Jason Wright but he is full of empty promises. I then reached out to Finfloor and Paul felt that he has no responsibility in this issue, transferred me to Gary Schiel. Gary Schiel came to my home to do in inspection and verified that there is no warranty on my floor because it was never supposed to have been installed ontop of the parquet flooring and that Paul Diedericks did not follow company protocol and should not refer potential clients to distributors and installers but should guide them to the webpage on the Finfloor website that lists all the accredited distributors and installers. Gary acknowledged that Paul was completely at fault and that he had a strong word with him but this does not fix my floor because I dont have a 20-year warranty in place. What is even more concerning is that Jason Wright from JC Home Improvements confirms that he has installed this flooring on top of parquet flooring in many homes and he was even willing to give me references of customers where the flooring was installed. Obviously, these homeowners are totally unaware that they have no warranty should anything go wrong on the floor and this needs to be highlighted to the public. Finfloor is a national company and if they can have operating practices as what they have in Cape Town, there will certainly be many people that is sitting with no warranties in place though they believe there is a warranty and this is all due to their employees not following company protocol. IF YOU INTEND TO CONTACT AND USE THE PRODUCTS THAT IS BEING SUPP**** BY FINFLOOR, MAKE SURE YOU DO ALL YOUR HOMEWORK AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE FOLLOWING ALL PROTOCOLS AND THAT YOUR WARRANTIES IS VALID AND INTACT BUT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM FINFLOOR AND LOOK AT ALTERNATIVE HONEST FLOORING SUPPLIERS AND INSTALLERS

Very bad and unprofessional fitting of laminating floors by Mr. Vaughn Gosllett. When part of the installation failed there was always excuses for not returning to fix the mess. More invalid excuses than valid excuses. Only after I involved the supplier FINFLOOR Brackenfell who accredited him as one of their installers and to involved Legal Wise he brought a sub contract installer by the name of Blackie and this guys seems to also take chances. We notice after a few weeks of refit that one of the faulty tiles has been reinstalled. I am not interest to bring them back to check on this again so I just have to live with it. Months went by and once again today 7 April 2021 I notice that where he repaired a few month ago one of the tiles started to fail again. This constant mess will be with me until I decided to lift and dump over a R30 000 job that I strongly consider in doing and count my losses. Take my advice and make sure that you do not make use of a installer that has been personally recommended by FINFLOOR employees and by the name of Vaughn Goslett. This type of installers put other good accredited installers in a bad light and take my advice if this man Vaughn Goslett is still with Finfloor walk away

It took me a long time to get to this point where I have to decide if I must write a review on this supplier or not. After consideration I decided that for the sake of other home owner who are in the process or who still considering upgrading their floors, and they are interested in Finfloor's product, that they should know what to look out before they appoint one of Finfloor's accredited installers. Early this year we upgraded our floors with their new product Moonstone tiles and what a disappointment. The installer that they personally recommended to me just messed up everything and after a huge struggle I finally get him to come back to fix his mess and once again he messed up. He refitted some of the faulty tiles and when I pointed it out to him he kept on saying the marks will eventually disappear. That did not happened. We also found afterwards that some of the tiles failed where it clipped together and strange as it might sound it is those close to the wall where there was originally no problem and you normal do not walk or look at. I won't be surprise if he refitted the damaged tiles but on a area that is not so noticeable because he did not want to pay for his mistakes and just refit it again. Some of the tiles that he replaced with new ones differs in shade and you can imagine how the end result is. I am now so "gatvol" for this floor issue that I appointed another installer to come and fix the mess that cost me once again money. They done a very good job but unfortunately and this is not their fault, we sit now with a floor with different shade tiles and it is just an eye sore. These tiles was also supplied by Finfloor. The question what I would like to be answered is, do Finfloor really keep up to their promises as to good quality. What is the point of suppling good quality but they make use of installers that don't give a ……. about their workmanship. What do they do with these installers that they accredited that is just their to take your money and leave you with bad workmanship. Do they cancel their accreditation. They are quickly to say that these installers are not their employees they are independent contractors. This I can understand but at the end of the day it is their product. I put a review on this same forum for the installer Vaughn Goslett of Advanced Maintenance Concept and also on Africacomplains website. Those homeowners who consider upgrading their floors I recommend you to stay away from him and do your self a favour and google his name. For the record I will not allow him back in my home for the second time to enable him to fix his mess once again. The problem will not go away as long as their is a difference in the shade. This is the type of installers that gives the other good accredited installers a bad name and he should be ashamed of himself. Just imagine what every visitor that visits me, family or friends must think of this ordeal when they see the floor.
