Purchase cleaned and deveined 400g prawns from Checkers Emmarentia. I cooked the prawns and found them very rubbery. Totally disappointed with the quality of prawns. The prawns looked really appetising in the packet but when cooked were so rubbery it was worse in texture than overcooked calamari. I lodged complaint with them and they didn't even have decency to respond so much for their Customer Care and respect for their customers down the line. Checkers though did. BTW, The prawns were definitely not Overcooked.

You have some of the rudest telesales I have ever dealt with. A customer phoning to inquire about products should be helped and you that work for FD Distributors should represent the company in a professional manner. Your arrogance and rudeness is disgusting!

Unfortunately not to happy about the service from the cashier! I was there on Saturday 21st November to buy mussels and prawns. The guy was very ****y and rude! From the onset ! When it came to paying, he was on his cellphone on a call, completely disregarded me until he was done! Not sure if he’s the owner? But ja. I won’t be back soon.

If you ever wondered what the saying " a mouth like a fishwife" go to Fishermans Deli in Dunkeld which offers the most unpleasant shopping experience with the staff being outright rude and incourteous and an aggressive attitude towards customers. I went there to buy fish and spend lots of money... never again.... i dont need to be attacked by more than one sales person simply for asking for my fish to be cut up and by standing in what was apparently the wrong queue... i didnt know.

I went there to buy fish and spend lots of money... never again.... i dont need to be attacked by more than one sales person simply for asking for my fish to be cut up and by standing in what was apparently the wrong queue... i didnt know.

Our Restaurant put in an order on Thursday the 10th of October with arrangements that our order be released as payment for the outstanding invoice hasn't been made yet and will be paid on Friday the 11th. Everything was confirmed by email that our order will be released and delivered and that we will make payment. By 10:10 on Friday the 11th our order was not yet delivered and asked my Manager to phone and ask whether the truck has been to the restaurant yet. I got a call back saying that my order was never released due to payment not being made, yet it was arranged that the order be released and payment will be made. When I phoned to ask what plan they can make to accommodate us, as we complied with the agreement they shrugged their shoulders saying that my R10,000.00 order isn't a big enough order for them to send another truck. This is not the first or second time that this has happened and they don't seem to care. IT WAS NOT OUR FAULT THAT OUR ORDER WAS NEVER DELIVERED YET THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HELP ARRANGE THE ORDER GET TO THE RESTAURANT, as a result of that we had very unhappy clients as our nearest town did not have all the required items we had ordered from Fisherman's Deli and we ran out of a few things, which is VERY unprofessional. My R10,000.00 order might not be a big order and will not make or brake your business, but that order that we didn't receive, that made us tell our clients "Sorry, we don't have enough stock" will affect a small business like us, but hey, you definitely do not care. I am very unhappy on how you handled this situation, that you shrugged your shoulders as if it is my problem and left the Restaurant in a very difficult situation, WITHOUT stock. We have been a loyal customer of Fisherman's Deli for longer that 3 years and this is how we are treated. UNACCEPTABLE

The business I represent placed an order for more than R2000 - delivery happened when it was dark outside. One box was not delivered (value R265). Phoned 3 times to complain, and relevant staff member was not available and didn't return call. Phoned supervisor (Kathy) and made a noise. First said a credit would be given, then a day later changed their minds and refused to give a credit. Now been investigated by them and offering a discount on next order. FAT CHANCE! Driver delivered on box short, and they are taking his word over mine. Elias, please do another delivery here

Yesterday (4 October 2017) I bought a hake from Fishermans Deli. When I got home I detected a strong smell from the package, but I nevertheless proceded to cook it. My daughter tasted the cooked fish and immediately said it is off. I found the brown paper in which the fish was wrapped with the price sticker on (date, price, etc). So I took it to the shop in Dunkeld West and asked for a refund. After much toing and froing, I was told that their "new rules" determine that they can only refund me on presentation of the payment slip, which I did not have. There was absolutely no reason why the price label could not serve as proof of purchase. Fishermans Deli did not deny that the fish was off (and judged by the smell, it could not have been the only one) but they obstructed me to get a refund

I went to buy hake at the Fisherman's Deli in Dunkeld and asked very specifically for 32x200g of pieces.I picked it up later.When I opened the bags,I found mixed pieces of 80 g,100g and 150g!!There was almost 2kg's missing which I was charged for.I phoned and they just said 'sorry' and they charge per whole fish.I asked then where my bones and fish heads were and whether they are planning to refund me or bring me the missing fish as I do not have enough fish for my customers and the manager told me that he is sorry but busy and cannot help me.Disgusting!!
