do not purchase at all!! two inverters have blown up. The electrician that did the install is not even registered at the department of labour. I had two inverters blow up and when i say blow up it could have burnt my house down. The contractor they use does not have any qualifications and is not registered at the department of labour. i have been fighting fivestar for two years. They gladly sell but dont sort out current customers. There are many complaints and legal action against fivestar. DO NOT BUY!! especially if the sales rep is Naresh!!

Do NOT buy ANY of their products!
Avoid at all costs! Bought 4 x 600W Outdoor LED floodlights @ R 1,639.00 ea in May 2024 with an advertised IP rating of 66. January 2025, all 4 have rain water in them, 80% of the LED's are dead, what's left are dim, flickering and on their way out. Totally inferior product, cannot contact the supplier at all - numbers don't exist. In-person visit, they say product only has a limited 6 month warranty! These same lights are sold on Takealot as well as BidorBuy and at a few other places. Don't get caught!

Bad service from elctrician and fivestar solar supplier
Bought a solar system through electrician and he supp**** a fivestar solar inverter fs1008 that has wifi function. IT DIES NOT APPARENTLY AND THEY SAY ITS EXYRA. Went through all the documentation and nowhere does it say wifi funtion is extra. It does however show wifi functionality.

Keep away from Five Star Inverters
Bought one of their inverters late last year. Their inverter discharged multiple sets of my batteries despite setting the lockdown above 12v/batt. The response from them is this is normal operation. Becarefull with their inverters, they destroy batteries. I'd keep clear from them. No customer service, not accountablity.

A Good Place with Very Competitive Prices
Their prices are very competitive. There is no warranty on inverters. One can find Five Star inverters elsewhere with 6 months warranty, but at much higher price or ridiculous conditions.
