Based on recent customer reviews, Fixxr receives strong praise for its convenient mobile mechanic model, with customers highlighting punctual arrivals, transparent communication via WhatsApp, knowledgeable mechanics, and competitive pricing. Specific technicians like Maano, Osweld, and Oliver are frequently commended for thoroughness and professionalism. However, a recurring pattern of negative experiences involves incorrect diagnostics leading to unnecessary repairs, poor follow-up when issues arise post-service, and management failing to respond to refund requests. Several customers report being ignored after raising legitimate complaints about workmanship or unresolved vehicle problems.

Very bad experience i got from this company. From administration to workmanship. They are making money from poor/wrong diagnostic. They don't want to refund me for their incorrect diagnostic. They don't want to give me the inspection report that I payed for. I thought they have improved over the years but they are much worse now than they were 3 years ago when I last used their service.

Booked an apointment with them for the next day. The mechanic messaged me he is going to be late. Then never arrived. The next day the mechanic once again said he was going to be late. I even got an apparent "Live Location" of the mechanic stating he was on his way, and he will be at my house in 59min. Waited for him the whole day. He didn't even pitch, or at least be honest, an tell me that he won't make it. I told myself if they don't pitch the next day, then Iwas going to request an refund. The mechanic then phoned me at 7:30AM in the morning promising me that he will be at my house by 11:00AM. Again he said his going to be late, and then he pitched up after 14:00PM. He serviced my car, and he was very friendly, and serviced the car quick. He didn't run an diagnostic to check for any faults, and I requested to them to replace my fuel filter. "Everything was paid for up front btw." The mechanic told me that my cars fuel filter, and pump was one unit, and both needs to be replaced. So therefore I paid R250 extra for the fuel filter, which wasn't replaced. And I asked them to refund me the R250. They keep on ignoring my messgages, and phone calls. I want them to refund me the R250 they owe me. I just want to put this nightmare behind me, and go on with my life. The faults don't lie with the mechanics, but with the management, and Customer service Fixxr. I won't recommend them.

Terrible and pathetic service from Fixxr. First they sent an auto electrician that messed up my alternator. Then they sent another auto electrician to fix the first guys mess. Not to mention the airbag light remained on…which was never on before. Fast forward…the car just cut out while driving with the dash lighting up like a Christmas tree. Reported to Fixxr and they fail to acknowledge liability and respond to the issue. Would recommend anyone to think twice before making use of them.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a service visit conducted yesterday, 26 November 2025, for two of my vehicles: a Major Service for my Jaguar and a Minor Service for my Mercedes. As a long-time customer who has generally been satisfied with your service in the past, I was genuinely shocked by the level of execution and the subsequent issues encountered. My concerns fall into three distinct categories: Service Delivery Discrepancies, an Immediate Vehicle Safety Issue, and Incorrect Billing. 1. Service Delivery Discrepancies (Jaguar Major Service) I was charged for a Major Service on my Jaguar, yet the work completed appears to align with a Minor Service, indicating a clear overcharge and failure to deliver the full scope of work. Omitted Spark Plug Change: The Major Service did not include the replacement of the spark plugs, a critical component of a full service package. Missing Cabin Filter Replacement: I was explicitly quoted for a new Cabin Filter, but upon inspection, this part was never replaced by the technician. Conclusion: I paid for a comprehensive Major Service but received a significantly truncated service, rendering the original invoice inaccurate. 2. Immediate Vehicle Safety Issue (Mercedes Minor Service) The most concerning issue relates to the Minor Service performed on my Mercedes. Dangerously Low Oil Level: This morning, on my way to work, the dashboard displayed a warning message indicating that the oil levels are dangerously low. Technician Assurance: I specifically raised a question about the oil quantity with your mechanic yesterday, and I was assured that the level was "more than enough." Consequence: I now have to interrupt my schedule to visit a garage and purchase oil to top up the vehicle, an action that should have been entirely unnecessary given that the vehicle had just been serviced. This poses a potential safety and engine longevity risk. 3. Incorrect Billing: Double Call-Out Fee Finally, I noted that I was charged a Double Call-Out Fee (one for each vehicle), despite the fact that both services were performed by the same technician during a single, consolidated visit to my location. Too all reading this review - Please double check everything when using Fixxr. This is heartbreaking to see companies do this to their clients.

I have used them for a number of years and had no problems. August 2025 I changed front brake pads and they squeak no stop, my old set of pads were a 100 times better. I complained and never heard back from them. I called and sent WhatsApp messages no response. I then had my car serviced by them in October 2025. Now my oil level light keeps coming on. That was never the case before the service and the same story don’t return calls or respond to messages. I even called on Saturday and the guy that answered said he would get his manager to call, lo and behold I am still waiting.I wanted to give them the benefit of doubt before writing this review. Now I have had enough and in hindsight would not even recommend them to anyone.
