Experience racial ************** while making a purchase at the Goodwood Gas and Equipment store. Very disappointed by this type of service, asked to speak to the manager’s manager as the incident took place with the manager in charge on the 25th of July 2024, left my contact details so I could formally lay a complaint. No feedback given regarding this experience.

Experience racial ************** while making a purchase at the Goodwood Gas and Equipment store. They damaged 2 of my gas cylinders when I went for a refill
They damaged 2 of my gas cylinders when I went for a refill. Both cylinders were damaged on different days. They wanted me to buy their cylinders instead and therefore damaged mine and **** that they are faulty. I ended up buying new ones to replace the damaged ones. The reason I don't believe their report is one cylinder was brand new and I had bought it the same day from a different supplier. My other gas cylinder was still fairly new and I had been using it almost on a daily basis, so I took it to them for refill while it was working just fine. I am convinced the motive behind the lie was to up their sales. Such an awful experience. I never went back to them

Super friendly and efficient store!
Nice store, good selection of products on display. Sales assistant was fairly well informed. knowledgeable advice. Great experience overall

Inconvenience and distress caused
So my mother recently purchased a gas geyser from this store however they did not provide the gas pump, they sent an installer on site only to find out that we need the gas pump which needs to be purchased separately, she then decided to return the product on the 28th of october ( original purchase date was the 17th of the same month ) She was told they will refund her She was advised to return to the store with the card she used to purchase the gas geyser She returned provided the details however they made a payment to the incorrect account to date she has still not been refunded and they are giving her the run around

Gas & Equipment Center AVOID AT ALL COST
Before you deal with Gas and Equipment center Randburg make sure you have tried all other gas companies, I asked for a detailed quote on having gas appliances installed inclusive of all plumbing and electricity. I was quoted R 48 158,90 for everything but then all of a sudden the price jumped to R 59 023,70. The job was supposed to take 2 whole days and I paid my deposit on the 25 March 2019 but a month later it is still not completed

I asked for a service of a 25 year old, 3-panel gas heater and specified a new hose as the original is cracked from old age. After the phone call that it was completed. I arrive to find the cracked hose still in place and original rubber seal still deformed from all the gas cylinders the regulator had been *****ed into over the years. The job card with the words written, "Replace Hose" stuck to the top of the machine. What did the service for R300 then cover?
