I asked for a service of a 25 year old, 3-panel gas heater and specified a new hose as the original is cracked from old age. After the phone call that it was completed. I arrive to find the cracked hose still in place and original rubber seal still deformed from all the gas cylinders the regulator had been *****ed into over the years. The job card with the words written, "Replace Hose" stuck to the top of the machine. What did the service for R300 then cover?
<p>I had a watch battery replaced, but unfortunately the glass face got badly scratched in the process. The watch opens from the front with 6 *****s and the *****driver had slipped whilst opening the casing. Spoke to Erfaan about it and he offered to have sapphire crystal glass face replaced. I appreciate the willingness to repair this. I can strongly reccommend Orient Jewellers</p>
<p>I strongly reccommend Tafelberg Furnishers. Always bought from them in CPT when I used to live there and so relieved they opened a branch near me in JHB. Great attitude and service from Nealon and Ramona. Prices very competitive. Worth the trip to Hillfox.</p>
A few weeks ago, I posted a review of great service I got from Cell C signing up for a new TWO YEAR data contract. Turns out, even with a good signal (green, not orange or red indicator) in Fourways there is hardly any connectivity speed. Text ONLY Whatsapp messages are even delayed due to slow speed if any. All attempts connecting to Google and other sites time out and the browser just posts a note saying no connectivity. I have never been more disappointed with getting sold a DUMMY. Now they have me paying for 2 years and I don't have any service worth trying to connect through. And be sure, the lengthy contract you sign, probably states in the fine print they take no responsibility if you don't get the service you pay for. Vodacom connectivity works much better, and pity they won't buy me out of my two year contract with Cell C.

Alfred is a guy that clearly takes pride in his work. His customer relations skill is outstanding. He is often making contact to inform me on the progress of my order. He has a great attitude and is a great asset to the business.
4 weeks ago I was looking for the March issue of a magazine, it was already off the shelf and April was on sale. I asked Masego if the March edition was still available, she told me that she can ask for the supplier to bring a March issue back. Weeks later I went on with my life, forgetting about the request (because I was NOT ever expecting a call) However, Masego phoned me last week, to tell me that the magazine had arrived....WEEKS later still making the effort of phoning me. That speaks of great character.
Freedom, the store manager (I can see why), has such a great attitude. He was my first contact with Cell C. He was courteous, professional, efficient. In a country where a sense and attitude of entitlement and don't-care is all over, he was a breath of fresh air. Where most people take no pride in their work, Freedom was the opposite, it looked like he wanted to work and appreciated having his job and responsibilities. Freedom should be promoted, however, please make sure he is replaced with someone of his caliber. It was my first dealings with Cell C and I am very pleased with the service. Thank you Freedom!
I took my smart phone for a warranty claim screen repair. The consultant asked me if the only issue was the screen replacement and if there was anything else that needed to be done. I said that it was ONLY the screen replacement that needed to be done. I get the phone back screen repaired, looks great!<br> <br> I would like to know WHO is going to pay for all the Apps they wiped off the phone. They did a complete reset and clean out of the phone memory. I didn't loose much personal information as the phone was recently backed up. However, I paid A LOT OF MONEY for data charges to download the apps on the phone. I didn't ask for an update of software, I didn't ask for a reset, nothing wrong with the phone.<br> <br> Who authorized this? Why not tell me, that I will lose all my apps if I get a new screen only? Then I would NOT get the screen replaced in the first place (and save Samsung the cost of a new warranty screen). Its like I got someone else's phone back.<br> <br> It is shocking how useless the South African workforce is. But keep striking, soon nobody will have a job anymore and we will be rid of all the useless staff we have to put up with. Then we can get efficient Chinese to do the work.
The prices at Fundi Tyres are very competitive! But more than that, the service from Martin was so refreshingly good. He takes pride in his great customer service. Something that we don't see in SA anymore. Forget all the other tyre suppliers, they don't care about your business and are not in the mood to help, Fundi Tyres do!
