We went to Gira for lunch but didn't want to eat much as we have a event happening later but I love there food especially there rump trinchado..I go there every now and then. I'm not a big eater and I know I never finish the trinchado and usually take the other half as a doggy bag...so I asked my partner wouldn't he rather share one with Me as we still have an event later and he wasn't that hungry either..so we order it to share.... Than the manager comes to us rude very rude telling us we can't share so that we can save money?? What! Than my hubby tells him it's not to save money just that.. That's where the sentence ends because the manager interrupts us by saying he will bring us the bill?? I understand if it's a rule I get it but he could have just said that and we would have ordered another plate of food?? Can't believe it... really and there were other customers around us listening to this so embarrassing

I’m struggling to find the words to say how bad my experience was… My hake tasted like plastic to the point that I couldn’t take more than two bites. I didn’t mind paying, but ask the waiter to ask the chef to taste the fish, cause I think something is wrong. The owner came to say there is nothing wrong and it’s just my tastebuds. She became extremely rude and extremely abrasive. I told her that it’s not about the money, but there is something wrong. I took the fish take-aways and let everyone taste - THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG!!! How can a business owner be so ******** and rude!!!

Called to place an order on our way to our holiday home on the Vaal. Was met with rudeness and bad attitude when I asked what I can only assume is the owner for his name! Will never support this clown again. Needs a crash course in sales and customer service.

I have been a customer of Gira Rio since they started doing business, but after the complete and utter rudeness that I experienced from the owner, Fernando de Abreu this evening, I am afraid they will NOT have the privilege of receiving my business ever again. I will also make sure to tell everyone I know about this. After patiently waiting for more than an hour for my order, I dared to ask how long it will still take, only to receive the aggressive answer from the owner that I must remember they are not Burger King. I was asked if I can't see that they are busy...! Gira Rio and Fernando de Abreu, you have lost a loyal customer.
