Wost service ever from Volkswagen the Glen, bought a car from them 20/03/2024 and had nothing but issues on the 3rd day of owning the car from DSG errors to a bad motor that's still with them for repairs, it's been one long story after the other with bad communication. I would not recommend this dealer at all the customer service is pathetic. The car is treated like a s****, parked outside no carport or cover, full of parts inside when asked why it looks like that you get told that's what they do. The DP (Suran) very sarcastic asking if I want the car parked on the showroom floor. They take no pride in their work. Biggest mistake buying a car from them!

My worst experience ever with VW the Glen, had to call back 5 times and still no assistance. It am so happy that I'm using VW Braamfontein as they know how to treat customers and know the true meaning of customer service. M

My husband bought me a 2016 Opel Mokka 1.4 T Cosmo on 30 September 2023. The car came to over R200 000 with the dumb services etc you HAVE to have with any second hand vehicle ! I drove the car maybe 1 month the engin light comes on , car overheats . Okay, new thermostat, thermostat was covered with hard black glue , cooling liquid looked like thick grey gaviscon - We replaced the cooling liquid bottle and put bright pink cooling liquid in the bottle. Then drive it not even 2 weeks later , the turbo packs up !!!!! I phone VW the Glen , I tell them they have sold me a very faulty car since we bought it , its been standing more than it was driving ! The lady in the office with the long light brown hair says she is sorry to hear this news. There is nothing they can do about it since we purchased a second hand car. Okay fix the turbo , replace a pipe from the turbo, new oxigen sensors , new gasket , etc ........ ( all of these fixes out of pocket because I just dont feel like going to VW the glen they will never take responsibility to fix the car or to cancel the sale) We replaced brake pads and the right cv joint , not even a month afterwards - engin light comes on again the big black airpipe burst - R24 000 for a new pipe !!!!!! And here we are , i dont even have this car for a year and i need to get rid of it !!!!!!! Im going to loose big time on finding another car then transfer shortfall but Im going to loose more by keeping it . If any motor dealer says a car is dekra approved what the hell does it mean ?????? Dont they go through a cars engin? How can VW The glen sell a car in this state to anybody and take no responsibilty for it ? This is really disgusting ! Worst of all nobody even knows the plan they sell or contracted within the plan , plus the plan doesnt even cover much, helps with gearbox and other things but its probibly just enough to cover labour :( Please what ever you do , Don't buy a car from Volkswagen The Glen ! They are not helpful even if they sold you **** ! They just say Askies Im sorry neh , then you"re on you're own ! This car is now our problem !

If you value your hard earned money & your car, stay away from their Car service!! ,Your car will come back with more issues which they distance themselves from. Play it safe with your warranty as well. They claim from the warranty providers more than what they quote you( *********)
