Volkswagen the Glen bad service
Wost service ever from VW the Glen, bought a car from them 20/03/2024 and had nothing but issues on the 3rd day of owning the car from DSG errors to a bad motor that's still with them for repairs, it's been one long story after the other with bad communication. I would not recommend this dealer at all the customer service is pathetic. The car is treated like a s****, parked outside no carport or cover, full of parts inside when asked why it looks like that you get told that's what they do. The DP (Suran) very sarcastic asking if I want the car parked on the showroom floor. They take no pride in their work. Biggest mistake buying a car from them!

Bad service

Volkswagen McCarthy Westgate is the worst dealer I've dealt with, we have been loyal customers for years of this dealer but the level of service received from them is questionable, no wonder they were under investigation for some ***** dealings which was kept silent. For more than a year we have been experiencing gearbox issues and were given the run around. Eventually the clutches was replaced and within a week after they worked on the car it got stuck on the side of the road and had to be towed in with gearbox issues again (I have pictures to prove my statement) the work was carried out by a qualified technician. After that the vehicle was fixed and I advised Volkswagen McCarthy Westgate there's is still issues. They than gave me the run around with booking the car in a few times and not fixing it. Months later they then got the RAM involved from VWSA and came to an agreement after we went for a test drive and saw and felt what the car was doing to replace the mechatronics at their expense. It took them 6 months to get this done but the wait would have been longer if we didn't open a case at the motor ombudsman to report them, within a week and a half after the complaint was opened they received parts and VWSA didn't pay. They still pushed it through the plan for us to pay. They knew they had a parts issue and that's why we were given the run around. After the mechatronics was replaced by a qualified technician the car got stuck again and had to be towed in, the car was returned and started doing some weird stuff I notified them again and was assured everything was in order but was not. McCarthy franchise manager got involved and saw these guys released the car with so many issues on the cars log it was shocking including a missfire on the engine. They took so many shortcuts and eventually the dealer principal came back with a **** trade saying its a good trade that will put us back financially taking out 100K plus to sort they mess out to buy another car, I explained to them they will be making good money including profit if I have to accept that deal. I would not recommend this brand or franchise to anyone. They have have **** and tried to **** me in another deal to cover themselves. This is what you get for being a long standing customer.

Bad service VW Westgate
Volkswagen Westgate is the worst dealer I've ever dealt with, a week after the faulty clutches was replaced on my T cross DSG the car got stuck on the side of the road with gearbox problems. The car had to be towed and booked back in for repairs, the car still had issues and after a long fight (8 months) the mechatronics was replaced but as agreed they were paying, a week plus after the mechatronics was replaced the car broke down again and had to be towed back for repairs after those repairs there was some loose components due to bad workmanship, I now have to go back to the dealer again to see what is causing a knocking noise on the vehicle. I requested reports just to find out my maintenance plan paid for the parts (mechatronics) and was **** to and given the run around for months, it took VW almost a year to replace faulty parts. The service is bad and it's no shock this dealer was under investigation for ***** dealings.
