I am a mother to a student at North-West University, Potchefstroom and I am deeply frustrated with the lack of response and accountability from Green Meadows Lifestyle Village, Potchefstroom, regarding an overdue accommodation deposit refund. Despite multiple follow-ups since December 2024, I have yet to receive the refund that was promised by end of January 2025. On 10 February 2025, I called the Admin Department and was sent from pillar to post before finally receiving the accounts department’s contact details. On 11 February 2025, I contacted accounts, provided all required student details, and was assured I would be called back. No one ever called. On 19 February 2025, I followed up again and was informed that the refund was “still processing”, this is the same response I received previously. To date, no refund has been made and no explanation has been provided. I have sent multiple emails, including one attaching the bank’s confirmation of account details, yet Green Meadows has remained unresponsive. The complete disregard for my query is unfair, unprofessional and unacceptable. Student details are as follows: • Name: Kgomotso Mokgadi Edith Shivambu • Student Number: 50423096 • Residence: Green Meadows Lifestyle Village, Potchefstroom • Unit Number: 502 This refund has been long overdue, and the lack of urgency has seriously inconvenienced me financially. I demand immediate action to process this refund and a proper explanation for the continued delay. Green Meadows, kindly take accountability and treat this matter with the urgency it deserves. The service is horrible. I have been waiting for my refund from them since last year, I have received a small portion of it because they mixed my room with someone else’s. They do not communicate anything to their customers, they are hard to reach. They have no sense or urgency, I have most definitely received the worst service from them. There is no coordination in the office, I am highly disappointed. I mistakenly overpaid for my rent, I have not received that refund as well. It is officially one of the worst places to be in Potchefstroom.

Struggling from 18 November 2023 to get my deposit refund. We left the place clean even the lady who did the check out said it's the cleanest nicest she ever seen when someone leave. I've been sending mails, numerous calls, they just keep on saying they wait for response from Manager. I will not recommend anyone to use Green Meadows. 😡

Struggling from 18 November 2023 to get my deposit refund. We left the place clean even the lady who did the check out said it's the cleanest nicest she ever seen when someone leave. I've been sending mails, numerous calls, they just keep on saying they wait for response from Manager. I will not recommend anyone to use Green Meadows. 😡

Its very difficult getting your deposit back.Still no progress after nearly 3 months.First you need to proof of your bank account details.Then you must wait 21 working days.After inspection they claim there was breakage witch were already there on occupation.Luckily we took pictures to proof them wrong.No phone number ever get answered. Hopefully it will be resolved without legal action.

I made a booking in Feb and cancelled due to my stufy school days being changes. to this day I have not recived my refund. Everytime I call I am being told that my refund is being processed. They do not bother responding to messages on whatsapp and lie when you call them.

The restaurant inside Green Meadows is always empty, but if you order food like a sandwich or chips you wait at least 40 minutes. If they are done there is no numbering system so the person who ordered after you can get our food.
