myself and family visited this venue for a mothers day lunch. this was a mistake and i will not recommend this experience to others. the food was well below average and the prices were well above average. the service was however acceptable. now a month later i am still trying to get my R800 table deposit refunded. all i am getting is the run around and a lot of frustration. so far nobody in authority has responded to my satisfaction, hence my presence here.

Good wine and great company
My sisters and I were in Cape Town for the December holidays and planned to try out some wine farms. We did our research and decided on Hazendal Wine Estate. Firstly the service was excellent from the moment we entered the tasting room. A lovely hostess entertained and educated us through the whole wine tasting experience.(I forgot her name, I think it was Amanda) The whole experience was just lovely and the place is Instagram content worthy 👌🏾. I would definitely recommend the wine estate. Going back for a picnic setup next time.

Good wine and great company

What a memorable stay it was...
I had the pleasure of attending the University of the Western Cape Research Recognition awards at this venue. The venue was amazing. The decor was beautiful. Halaal food was ordered in for us and it was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful for the most part, very knowledgable. A wonderful venue to make this event even more memorable!

What a memorable stay it was...

Hazendal Estate Wine tasting went BAD.
As regulars when Hazendal opened, we visited all the venues and especially as wine lovers the wine tasting area. Staff was knowledgeable, professional and friendly with a touch of humour, we enjoyed tremendously. BUT on 20 Febr at 16h00 we had a suprise that left us with a feeling of shock and nause to the stomach. The NEWLY staff that adressed us was in a manner and attitude of trash that walked in. I will NEVER go back and would NOT like anyone to experience such humiliation.

Hazendal Wine Estate - What a gem
I visited the farm for the first time in some years, going there for breakfast this morning. It was very nice before, but not unlike some other wine farms, however I was amazed at how much is has changed, all for the better. The breakfast was nice, but what truely blew me away was the friendliness of the staff, their positive attitude about their work place, there knowledge of the farm and there admiration of the owner. My rule is to call out businesses with bad practices and to highlight the good ones... Hazendal Wine Estate is a great farm and so do yourself a favour and go visit it... I know I will be soon. Oh... and it is very child friendly.

Hazendal Estate a 6 star experience.
1st Most amazing professional and friendly staff at the Estate knower else to be found. 2nd Service that blows your mind away with passion in their work. 3rd Just a beautiful Estate with old heritage and knew combined that makes you feel at home. 4th Its an experience to wine dine (food is incredible good) and leisure around that will make you to come back again.
