Hey Neighbour has ****med me off of my money and I would like a refund. I purchased a ticket on the 31st of May 2025. On the 6th of October I cancelled my refund and requested a refund which they promised to pay before the end of Oct. The 31st of October I received another email from them stating that they are still trying to process funds due to the high volume of refund request, asking me to be patient and that I will receive my refund. I went onto my account on the 15th of Jan 2026 and my status has been changed from “processing” to “refund paid” . I have not received my refund and I entered the correct banking details. Hey neighbour is a **** and it deserves to be cancelled , I’ve tried sending emails and calling them but the emails don’t go through , same goes for the contact number on their emails. I want my money back !

Hey Neighbour has promised to issue a refund after canceling the event. To date they have not issued a refund and they do not respond yet that are raking in the interest on the consumers funds that they have not refunded as yet.

This year I bought a ticket to HeyNeighbourfest on the 23rd of April 2025. I bought a ticket because I was excited to see DojaCat perform on the 31st of August 2025 at the Legends Adventure venue. A few months after I purchased my ticket, HeyNeighbourfest announced that they will be moving the Date from August to some time in December. It was very disheartening when they changed the dates because I will not be in the province during that month, meaning I wouldn’t be able to attend the event. I was more then willing to make arrangements to stay during that month and go to the fest but there were talks that Doja Cat will no longer be coming and it was soon confirmed when Doja had released her tour dates for the year since she had released a new album and South Africa wasn’t on that list. I tried to request my refund soon after that by viewing my ticket and requesting a refund (cancellation) but the website had blocked the option to request for a refund. I then started sending multiple emails, sending messages on the Instagram page and also calling the phone number on the website but the email invalid, the calling line was blocked and the messages via instagram had no response back. About a few weeks after that, the refund option had reappeared and then I requested my refund on the 26th of September 2025, expecting my refund by the 10th of October because that was posted on their social media pages and was confirmed via email but I still haven’t received my refund and it’s currently the 22nd of October 2025 and even though they did post a statement saying that they are moving the date to the following year, I had requested my refund way before that (via email & via the website) statement and it it unfair for me not to know when my money will be refunded. Therefore I would like for my money to be refunded to me immediately (within 7 working days) and if not I do plan laying charges with the police & resolving the issue via small claims court. Most horrible! I paid R1600 for a ticket and the whole show got cancelled and they stopped replying to my emails and won’t refund me my money! I’ve been reaching out but they’ve since stopped replying & their website has been down since the announcement of their cancellation. This is disgusting and appalling service. My money doesn’t grow on trees, imagine this was my first impression of them, I’d never been to any Heyneighbour festival before and so badly wanted to go for Doja Cat. Should’ve never trusted them🚮🚮🚮

I requested a refund from Hey Neighbour on 26 May 2025. Their own policy states refunds are processed within 21 days, but that deadline came and went with no payment. These guys are ****mers Its been 2 /3 months and i did not receive my refund for the event that was rescheduled Staff is rude The refund takes 5 - 7 business days, its been months, im fed up Can someone please help. This is going nowhere Keep telling me it will be refunded but nothing.
