During my December Vacations, the staff at the Hilton ensured that my stay and the Spa that I attended will be remembered all the days of my life.

We purchased a special straight from the website. I am not sure if they don't care much for customers that make use of the specials or if they in general just don't care.

1. Our appointment was for 12:00. When we arrived there 11:45 we were told by the receptionist that they had been trying to call me the entire morning - I had no missed calls on my phone. I gave them the benefit of the doubt (perhaps they took my number down wrong- knowing that I sent various e-mails with my number in my signature) We were told our appointment had been moved to 13:00. When we arrived back at 12:45 we waited until 13:15 to get taken in and started. No apologies for running late or even a glass of water offered.

2. The place had a horrible smell.

3. To be quite blunt it felt like someone was just rubbing cream into my body - not an actual massage. I assure you my partner does the same at home, for free.

4. I got so irritated during the massage, I honestly felt like just standing up and leaving! The towels were scratchy. The wood part where you face goes was hurting me. I could feel she was not trained at all!

5. It states Hot stone- if they used it for 5 minutes it was a long time.

6. The stones were not tested before putting it on my back - I actually screamed because it was so hot. The stones kept slipping off my back when they left it on there.

7. I am not sure what kind of oil they used, but it had a horrible smell.

8. The massage we booked was for 90 minutes - They got started at 13:20 and ended at 14:24 (Take note: I was asked about 3 times how long the massage would be.)

9. It was overall not a relaxing or enjoyable experience. I have been for Aromatherapy / Thai / Swedish / Hot Stone massages before and this was nothing like that!

10. I e-mailed Stuart with regards to my concerns and experience and the response I got just ticked me off good and proper. Clearly he does not care and as I am understanding from other posts that this Stuart is the owner!

I would not recommend this place to anyone! We were supposed to have a relaxing girls day out and instead my friend was sore and had a mark in her face from the bed and I was embarrassed and disgusted by the service we got! I had booked this as a treat! Biggest waste of money in my life!!!

being on holiday in cape town the past week, i came across hilton spa boutique (in Protea Fire and Ice Hotel) and thought it would be nice to have a couples massage. the space is heavily decorated, not tasetful at all. the massages were sub standard, seemed as if the the******s lacked experience they seemed clueless, the space was way too small...could not even walk around and to top it off the "complimentary" water was served in a filthy chamagne glass...complimentary water, i mean really!!!!!

I was booked for a full body massage on the Saturday morning at the Hilton Spa in Cape Town at the Fire & Ice Protea Hotel. I live in Somerset West. So, it is quite a drive for me all the way to the city, but I received a voucher from friends for my birthday. So, I was really looking forward to just relax and did not mind to drive all the way. However when I arrived the receptionist told me that the massage therapist had to go home due to food poisoning and had to cancel all her appointments. But no one informed me at all, even though the receptionist said he tried to call me there was absolutely nothing on my phone. Therefore I drove all the way there for nothing. I politely explained this to the receptionist and ask if there is then any other therapists available or other treatments he could offer me (which I would have paid for) since I am now there, but he said no, all he can do s reschedule my massage. I said that it is unacceptable that I had come all this way without any one informing me whats going on and then expect me to just leave. And he just kept on saying he is sorry all he can do is reschedule, which I think is very bad client service without offering anything to me!

I booked two full body massages from Daddy's Deals. I have been on email with Riaan to book an appointment, we could not get an appointment that suited us both. I then called to book and he said the only availability was in January. I asked if he can add my name down for any cancellations and he said the list is too long to add mine! I asked my husband phone a couple of hours later, Riaan said yes you can come on Tursday at 12pm!?!? he did not know it was my husband calling on my behalf!
This morning my husband got a call from Riaan to say he left a voice message to reschedule because he is two therapist short. My husband asked why did he not leave a SMS because he don't always check his voice messages and how can he tell us this on the day, can he speak to the manager!? Riaan replied with, I think you should get a refund!!
I called and asked to speak to the manager, he said his the manager, I said can I speak to the owner, he said his the owner!? Is this true??
His attitude from the beginning is ridiculous, he doesn't know what customer service is about.
If you go onto their Facebook page you'll see the complains about the receptionist!
In relation to a booking I had made over the weekend at the Hilton Spa Hotel. I was astonished by the efficient and prompt service offered by a man named James. He showed brilliant assistance and portrayed how high the standard of the Hilton Spa Boutique is.

After finding a group on deal for the first time, I had contacted the Hilton Spa Boutique, James answered and immediately said that I should send him an email and could directly make a booking with him through the Spa.

I was surprised that in less than a few minutes, he had already provided me with feedback and within a few hours I had received a professional gift voucher for a Hot stone combination massage.

James was professional, brilliant and very accommodating. I would recommend the Hilton Spa Boutique, simply based on their prompt and efficient services. 10/10
