From the building, I didn’t have high hopes but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and size of the rooms and food. The breakfast was great and I love the vegan menu! What I really loved is the eco- friendliness (the hotel is a role model) and amazing facilities in the building. The grounds are beautiful. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

What a suburb hotel. From gate welcome, reception to the room, EXCELLENT! The rooms are very well thought out. Everything is perfect....except, no SHOWER caps! absolutely the best supper at any hotel I have eaten. Absolutely the hotel I would recommend to all my clients. Breakfast could be better, but Covid was a problem when we visited.

I was woken up in the middle of the night at 1am by some one opening doors to the hotel rooms and the guest opposite my room complaining that someone attempted to access their room and looking to steal. Threatening the hotel to sue. I tried calling the reception area to find out what is going on but no one answered

I booked a night's stay at Hotel Verde in Cape Town for Feb 2020 as my Thomas Cook flight was landing at about half past midnight and it's not safe driving the N2 at that hour on my own! Now Thomas Cook have gone into liquidation - due to no my fault of my own - and Hotel Verde refuse to give me a refund! Even though I'm giving them plenty of time to resell the room and not lose out on earnings! They haven't even responded to my 3 emails requesting a refund or a response! This is disgusting customer service!

For a 4 star hotel very dissapointing. I''ve never seen such somber staff ignoring a guest and looking at me like the cat dragged me in in my life. No communication at all. Running up and down to get wifi to work and to ask how the lights work. And one sachet of coffee in room per day and thereafter you have to buy coffee! The most unwelcomed i've ever felt at any place I' ve ever stayed. And i have 3 nights to go.
