Poor Communication & Refund Procedure
I purchased two toilets on 15 Aug, paid in full, and was then told they only had one in stock. I requested a refund (obviously), sent my bank details, and on 18 Aug was assured by email that the refund was on its way. Spoiler: it wasn’t. Since then, I’ve sent daily requests just asking for a basic update. Nothing. Not even the courtesy of a two-line reply. Apparently, customer service here means ignoring you once they’ve got your money. This entire saga has been a complete waste of time and energy — all for the “privilege” of lending them my money interest-free. A refund shouldn’t require detective work and begging emails. If you enjoy paying for stock they don’t have and then chasing them endlessly for your own cash, this is the store for you.

House Shop the Number One Online **** Store
This excuse of a so called "online store" is nothing more than an *********** business with below par service. Products posted on their website does not match the description or price nor do they keep stock products for you to view. So, it is any bodies guess what product will show up to your house when ordering from this feckless business. Yet according to House Shop's inefficient staff their supposed "policy" protects them from bad service, **** products and false advertising provided on their website. An easy and irresponsible way to not think of the consequences. Rather stick with reliable and honest businesses that take pride in customer satisfaction, professionalism and quality products.

Excellent service
I ordered 2 basins and lead time is 14 days as the supplier manufacture on order. Excellent communication throughout the whole process and they kept me updated . I did receive my basins on time as promised and in perfect condition. Thank you Sipho for great service I recieved.

Looking to purchase 4 basins, I confirmed with the sales staff there was stock, received a quote, and make payment. However, I was contact shortly afterwards, and informed there was no stock. I made an alternative purchase, which had a lessor value, and was due a refund. two months later, I am still waiting The sales staff are incredibly polite and apologetic, but are not able to process the refund themselves. The manager, Quintus Grunewald, is not available on the landline, nor does he respond to emails or whatsapp messages to the number provided on their website

Manager put the phone down in my ear while I was talking because I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund. Tells me “I don’t know when I will be able to do the refund” “I cannot give you a time I will email you”. Shouted back at me when I said I was unhappy with the way he was speaking to me.

Received faulty item and had terrible customer service
<div>I am really disappointed in House Shop and ***** customer service. I purchased a brand new double butler off their website and was delivered a scratched refurbished sink and they refused to take responsibility. The product arrived while I was out of town. When I returned a few days later and checked it I noticed all the issues and they said because I didn't check it I'm outta luck and were really rude in their correspondence. I really don't recommend this business and I will never use them again.</div>
