Hummingbird is one of the most pathetic management agency's that has no regard for homeowners in complexes. People are treated almost less than animals. With constant re-occuring disconnections of water and electrical services.

The worst management property ever i hope the complexes looking to do business with these heartless people are here to read this they do not care about your tenants at all LYNDA is busy telling tenants that she only speaks to landlords CEDAR ROC COMPLEX electricity was cut off three days back because they owe and they send us information saying they made an arrangement yet there is nothing till now even when you try to explain to them that your kids are suffering for it they do not care at all rather want to do a shouting contest with you as a tenant 🙌🙌im beyond fustrated but the level of service you will get from this property management is zero do not even think once just do not use them if you are a company that strive in giving your tenants the best coz they do not care at all i even have screenshots to prove how someone can be so inhuman and inconsiderate .

Hummingbird Property and Management Services hasn't paid our levies and CSOS over to the Hawthorn Home Owner's Association since October 2020. We were only informed that we've been handed and are 5 months in arrears. Crowther Fourie from Hummingbird has indicated that he won't be paying our money over to the HOA. We paid our levies over to Hummingbird every single month on time. Needless to say we rate your appalling service at 0/5.

Hi, I own a flat in a complex that uses Hummingbird as the property management agent. we wanted to move to prepaid electricity for about a year. Hummingbird always came back with a different scenario of why it would be difficult. they recently came back telling us that we have a credit with COJ of R154 857,00. they will still charge us for electricity because there are owners that have not paid. they promised more than a year ago to claim this money from truant tenants but no feedback given to the owners/renters. they now say they have legal requirements that they want to use the money for. why does this only come up when there is money available. does this mean there are several other legal obligations that hummingbird is not complying with. this is one of many issues that they are not open with and feels like they steal our money.

Complex: Hawthorn Mews within Hawthorn Village in Fourways. The owners of the complex were paying Levies to Hummingbird, after a new agency EEM took over the management of the complex, Hummingbird is refusing to pay Levies paid to them to the new management company EEM. EEM is telling me as an owner of the unit that it is not their problem. I have called Crowther and emailed him my bank statements reflecting payments and he just ignores me. On the phone he promises to sort it out but its been over a year now and no action. I now need to seek legal assistance and the cost for them is more than the money being owed by the company which puts me in a compromised position. This is unethical behaviour by a company and should not carry on like this. I would like other owners of other complexes to be aware of this company and the manner in which it is treating its so called customers and reconsider making use of them to manage their complexes.
