Looking for places to rent and started to reach out to them. First I called and was told they'd let me know when next the agent would be there - no follow-up call. Then via WhatsApp where they are even less helpful and rude, no one works over the weekends so we're expected to take off from work to accommodate them during the week. Glad I took a look at the reviews before continuing with them. Will definitely not be doing any business with these people who clearly have no sense of what customer service or ethical practice is. Stay away

I have been renting with this agency for a year now, for a period of 10 months I was not being charged for parking and a month of February a lady moved in and was charged for parking and she logged a complaints and the caretaker Mike, decided that he would dispute her matter by involving me in an issue that I had already explained to Mike that I was provided the key at the office and was told that they do not have an additional key for the small gate that does not need payment I have been making a follow-up with Cynthia Letlape four weeks and she promised that I will not be charged the 3600 and to my surprise I end up being charged that amount I paid the money as it was affecting my credit score and and Cynthia had promised multiple times to me and my parent that she will have a sit down with management and Mike and only to be told a different story by Mike this is the worst rental agency to date

Bad service at Huurkor and Nicol Jacob’s gives bad service. I had to unfairly pay R1400 Legal fees without proper process being followed by Huurkor & had to pay R200 for a message that was sent by Huurkor that is not in the rules.

Please note that Huurkor charges unfair fees when they are following up on payment of levies without giving a chance to arrange repayments. I got charged as follows : (1.) R700 for a letter from the lawyers (2.) R200 for sending an email to ask for payment This is unfair and when I try to tell the portfolio manager Nicol Jacobs it always falls on deaf ears.

They have the worst agents. I had the unfortunate pleasure of having to deal with Dumisani. where to start?? Poor communication: He will request documents and you will send him. He will come back 3 days later and ask for same documents and you will share with him again. He will come back after a week and tell you that he has not received your documents. You will send AGIN and then he will tell you he recived your documents a week ago, he does not know why it has not been processed. He will send a whatsapp at 20:01 on a Tuesday and tell you to come and view at 09:00 on a wednesday. Like you do not have to make arrangements at work You will send him whatsapp telling him you cant make 9am because you have to go to office first and make arrangemtns. He will not reply you. You will call him at 09:11to let him know you on the way and he will say you not serious and hang up on you. All that up and down for absolutely NOTHING. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROMM THEM. YOU ARE GONG TO WASTE YOUR TIME.

Huurkor's incompetence is staggering. Imagine ending a rental mandate only to find out the keys they give you don't even open the door to your own home. This was my reality. On top of this logistical nightmare, I found damage in the property that they either caused or ignored. Their two most basic jobs are to manage access and protect the property. They failed at both. I had to terminate our agreement immediately. Save yourself the hassle and property damage. Look elsewhere.

Huurkor handed our levies account to Du Plessis and Eksteen in 2022. Payment was completed in full in January 2023. Paid up letter received yet the judgement was never rescinded. Huurkor hands over clients yet doesn't take the time to ensure the process is closed off properly like the way it was opened. We are fighting with Huurkor attorney to remove the judgement when it should be Huurkor. We are from No 26 Pendoring Park, estate was managed was Huurkor. You cannot ruin a person's life and credit health even after you have received your payment.
