Started trading a few years back on this platform. All seemed well, till the start of 2021. Struggled to withdraw my LTC and then after a month or so, the website was shut down. I had to Google "ice3x" to get information about the shut down and now my LTC is frozen/unavailable. I've asked the Help Desk like 5-10 times what is the process now and the status of the business rescue/liquidation, nobody has come back to me.

Seems like a scam. I can't trade and I can't sell my BTC or LTC. Not sure why this hasn't made the news in a big way but it seems like either some serious fraud has been committed - or the company has been hacked. But they aren't saying which. Either way it seems like they are dead - even if they recover from this who will trust them again?

I'm very worried about ICE3X. Seems like there are issues sending BTC to another wallet like Luno. I sent some last week to open the Luno wallet account. Since yesterday I cannot send anything. They say my limit is BTC 0.014. To send a larger amount, therefore less total fees, I applied for an upgrade by sending ID, Bank Statement, Proof of address and a selfie. I did this last week. They came back yesterday to say I had not sent it. I repeated the send. They then come back and say the selfie is not acceptable. I am sure it would be in a court of law. It's me, what can I do? So I decided I will send the BTC in 0.014 increments just to get it off that exchange. It will not allow me to do this. So my BTC is locked up in their exchange. The only reason I can think of disallowing sends is because they in trouble somehow. Maybe the BTC price the last few days has compromised their operation and they bankrupt. It would not be the first exchange to go bankrupt in SA. All the more reason I want my BTC off that exchange. Or have I now lost everything?

I feel it's necessary to leave a review here about ICE3's Debit Cards, but before I get to that, let's just address a few things as well. 1. This has to be THE MOST complicated system I have ever used. 2. Launching SpaceX is less complicated than ordering a Debit Card. 3. Support sucks. Especially when the COO, Eugene Etsebeth replies. I'm digressing here, but what I mentioned above is important because you need to realise that when dealing with ICE3, you'll almost always NOT get what you expect. Case in point, the debit card. Now, they create this expectation of what you'll get, however what arrives in the post (hardly professional btw) is completely different to what you'd expect. You'll be getting a card so ugly that I'd be embarrassed to "whip it out". Oh and you'll only be able to use it in South Africa. All this seems petty, however had they been honest and upfront from the start and not give some excuse afterwards blaming MasterCard for this, I'd be OK with it. ICE3, you've got some work to do here. Honestly is key, especially when you offer a service to people. If you could be this misleading with a silly card, what else are you hiding? For now people, steer clear of this company.
